Still worth it to get an FS5?

I’m a documentary director wanting to start filming some stuff myself, and I have a budget of around 1000euro. I need something portable and easy to run and gun, autofocus, zoomlens and usable audio is necessary.
I thought of getting an A7something or an fx30 or smth but it quickly gets out of budget with all the addons I’ll have to buy to make it work.
An FS7 is too big and heavy. That’s what landed me on the FS5. And when I saw that John Wilson uses one, I thought ok great. I can get a secondhand FS5 II with 18-105mm, zacuto and mic for 1000eu.

Though my dop friend advices me towards an A7something or FS7.

Any thoughts on the matter? Is it too old? Is there anything better that fits the budget?

Recommended bike for passenger riding

I got an XR600R from 1990 myself and I'm really happy with it. Now this isn't a bike to take my gf on the back. I'm looking for a second bike that's reasonably affordable, where she can join me on some adventures. Will be mostly road with a bit of gravel probs. I was looking into Transalp, XTZ750, something like that, that's where my budget is. Though both of them still seem small for two? Africa Twin is surely out of reach for now. Maybe R1100gs? Or should I abandon the adventure bike plan, forget the gravel and get another style bike?

Most importantly is that I fit (2m tall, 6'7"), and my gf on the back and ideally some light luggage on the side, I got soft panniers.

Weird warped photos in ES mode on GFX50R

Today I had a shoot in bright sunlight, and i put my 50R on electronic shutter to be able to crank it to 8000 while shooting 2.8. While looking back the pictures, I found several photos warped. Some were only a bit warped where the model was slimmer or shifted upwards, other were more extreme (like the picture here). To be clear: This was a really standard portrait, camera leveled straight, in front of the model. NOTHING weird or diagonal, super basic portrait.

I reckoned it could only have to do with the ES, and switched back to MS, after which the problem completely disappeared. I reckon it has to do with reading the sensor and processing the info (I clicked quite quickly (for a GFX....)).
I used a Sandisk Extreme Pro 200MB/s V30 U3 card of 128GB, which should be plenty fast right? And since it didn't happen in MS, it shouldn't be a card issue.

I'm just so surprised that a camera of this caliber and price has such a weak spot. A bit incomprehensible for me, but maybe someone has another explanation for this.

EDIT: I did not have a fitting ND filter for the lens, and yes that would’ve solved the problem. Still I’m stunned by how the whole ES is basically useless bc of slow readout speeds. Never had something this bad on my 10yo Xpro2.

450 MT with (i guess) fuel problems, anyone knows?

My friend’s 1yo 450 MT suddenly stopped working today. We had 4 days of road, mud, gravel, everything, washed it, drove another 400kms, no problem in sight. Today on a gravel road it suddenly sputtered and stopped. Electrically it starts up but when he starts it, it quickly quit again, behaves like it doesn’t get fuel. We think it’s the fuel pump or injectors or smth, but it’s such a hell of a job to get to the engine that it’s too much for a roadside repair. Also it started so randomly, we have no clue how this could happen, especially to such a new bike. It’s a 2025 450MT with about 3000km on the clock.

Any help or similar experience is appreciated.

(I’m glad I drive a 1990 Honda xr600r with a kickstart and no battery 😅)

Adapter for tire pump to air mattress?

Would anyone know if something like that exists? I carry a usb-c rechargeable tire pump and I thought it might aswel inflate my sleeping pad.
