Window Master Window Switch Assembly for 1999 RX 300

The driver side switch for the front passenger window recently stopped working automatically (at 63K - not a typo) in my 1999 RX 300. The switch does still open/close the window if it is held down/up the whole time.

I tried the reset procedure a couple of times without success. Also, the switch itself is loose in both vertical and horizontal directions compared to those for the other three windows, and sits a little higher than the others.

There are plenty of used OEM switch assemblies on e-bay, but that route seems like somewhat of a crap shoot. Does anyone have experience with the Window Master assembly?

Replace timing belt or not? 2002 TL-S

I may sell my 2002 TL-S within the next six months. It's in way too nice condition to trade in (always garaged, transmission replaced, all maintenance records, good Pilot Sports, etc.) so it would be a private sale.

The timing belt is now 7 years 4 months old (6800 miles). Would replacing it pay back in a private sale? If not, how risky would it be to put another six months on it?

Vet recommendation for CKD cat (near Cherry Hill, NJ)

I'm looking for recommendations for a veterinarian in the Cherry Hill area especially skilled in managing feline CKD.

I am also looking for an openness to discuss treatment strategies mentioned in renal cat support groups, and routinely making lab results available, not handling it as a very unusual special request.

Thanks in advance for ideas.

Neighbors not respecting property line

Last November, my neighbor and his wife had a landscaper butcher shrubs I planted 25 years ago that I keep trimmed into a privacy hedge. I caught their contractor just after he had cut back shrubs that were more than 15 feet inside our property. He also pruned (if you can call it that) at the wrong time of the year, and this year’s leaf growth has been nil. I have before and after photos of the hedge as well as one of the landscaper's truck bed full of our shrubs.

When the neighbors were asked about this their response was that they had done us a favor, while also maintaining that the shrubs were on their property. (The property line is obvious, by extrapolating their side fence).

This wasn’t the first time they had performed unauthorized work. They have also been verbally abusive on a couple of occasions since the shrub incident, screaming and cursing at us from their front yard while we were on our own property.

In response we had a professional survey performed, obtained a zoning permit, and erected a fence. As a courtesy, before installing the fence we sent them a letter to inform them that a permit had been pulled with the intent of erecting a fence.

The fence still didn’t stop them, so the other day my wife and I put a No Trespassing sign on our fence. As chance would have it, on our way out to the fence to put up the sign, we heard the neighbors talking about “the other side of the fence” to someone, and found their contractor in our yard (we have video). He wouldn’t tell us why he was there but he did leave immediately.

Within a matter of hours, the neighbors had put a large metal daisy on a pole 5” in front of the sign (the fence is set in 4” in from the property line – they knew this because they took down the surveyor’s flags after the fence went up).

Before we consult a lawyer, what options do we likely have?

Low(er) phosphorus and protein food with taste/consistency similar to Fancy Feast Medleys

I noted in another post that I've tried every prescription [edit] wet food available in the US (also Weruva Phosphorus Focused) with my 14 yo stage 2 cat. She will try some of these, but eventually go on a hunger strike and we go back to old reliable Fancy Feast Medley flavors.

I've also tried OTC foods with more moderate phosphorus and/or protein.

She doesn't like soupy foods. She almost ate regular Science Diet, which is on the lower end of phosphorus and protein for an OTC food.

Is there anything close to the Fancy Feast in taste and consistency that I could try?

Valid SDMA?

My cat's (14 yo) BUN, Creatinine and SDMA values from the last few years are attached.

Can an SDMA really decrease from 18.8 to 9.5 in six months without any significant lifestyle changes other than the introduction of water fountains? (She has refused every [no exaggeration] prescription renal diet on the market in the US and also Weruva.)

The May, 2026 SDMA value doesn't physically look right: it isn't correctly column aligned, the normal value is missing and the verbiage associated with the two previous results isn't present. I suspect either a software glitch in the clinical lab or corruption of the PDF file.

Based on the trend, I'd guess a real value of 19.5.

However, the vet is certain that this kind of change looks reasonable, so I'm confused...
