Hey y'all, I recently got a PS2 and am looking to start up a franchise. I have a few maddens on it (05, 06, 07, 08, 09), and am curious as to what people's thoughts are on which one is the best. I'm definitely a draft and develop my own players kind of guy, so things like rookie scouting and player progression are most important to me. IIRC, 07 had a really good progression system where players would gain or lose ratings based on their performance over the season- not sure if that was just an 07 thing or if they expanded on it in later maddens. Bonus points too for playbook customization/formation subs (was running a Madden 10 franchise on my 360 before it red ringed me and formation subs were PAINFULLY tedious in that game). Let me know what y'all think!
Going to be running the PS2 as my primary console for a little bit after my 360 died. I have a general idea of what games I want to get for it (specific maddens, for example) but was curious if there are any particular titles that excel in that specific game mode. Especially football and basketball, but any others too.
I have an 360 S that just gave me the red ring of death, and it seems to be a GPU/RAM issue so I think it's toast. Is there a way to recover the data off of the console? Either by transferring it to computer or removing the hard drive and putting it in a new console. I'm more experienced with OG Xboxes so I'm not quite sure how the 360 works, especially the S model.
My husband and I went to see a baseball game at our local university (lower level division 1) and it was absolutely glorious. Tickets were 10 bucks, they were selling tallboy miller lites for 7 bucks a pop (crazy cheap for a sporting event), and the weather was gorgeous. We got drunk and watched our boys come back from a three run deficit and walk it off with a game winning single in the bottom of the ninth. Came home, popped an edible, took a nap, and then fucked each other's brains out before knocking out for a deep ass sleep. Great fucking day.
