Anyone know who does boat upholstery on Upper Cape? When the boat goes in for the winter, I need our rear seat back reupholstered.
Disclaimer because I know I would assume (I know my flaws): we live here year round. I’m not a second home owner looking for offseason unloading/storage. But the winter is clearly when it would be easiest to drop off since it’s not being used.

Went out on the lake/pond/whatever. After anchoring and getting thrown around for an hour or two by a lot of wakes, we decided to move to a cove. Once everyone went in, the water turned to a sheet of glass. Love living here (tourists aside). @mashpeewakeby

Maybe a dumb question, but I’m confused.
Looking at bimini tops for my Four Winns 215 Sundowner. Every single one I’ve seen shows straight gunwales, like flat from front to back. Mine are angled up, then meet the windshield. Do I need to find a specific type of bimini top for this? Picture of my boat attached. The cover is on, but you can see the angle I mean. Thanks.

2019 RAM 1500 (new body style)
Does anyone have a catch can installed? If so, where? I bought one, but cannot for the life of me find a suitable place to mount it. I’m open to any suggestions that don’t require running hose over the top of the engine. TIA!
2019 RAM 1500 hemi. Grille and upper grille swap.
Don’t be like me and basically go all winter with only one run through the car wash. This was a 3-day PITA process.
Wash, wheels/tires, dry, bug/tar remover, wash again, wheels/tires again, dry again, compound, polish. That’s just so far.
I need to wipe with mineral spirits to break down any remaining/loose oils, then ceramic coat. Then I’ll tackle the glass.
At least I got it back to a baseline clear coat, though!
Has anyone wrapped their bumper and/or rocker panels? If so, how are they holding up? There’s tons of pits in mine, especially the lower bumper, and I’m wondering if I should take it off and sand/paint, or if wrap would hold up. TIA.
2019 RAM 1500 DT hemi
Just sharing in case this helps someone else. Putting TLDR at the top because this might get long.
TLDR- failing park assist sensors caused rough start and delayed acceleration tip-in.
Detailed account: park sensors started acting up in February. We had just gotten nailed with snow, so I assumed the “wipe sensors” message was nothing big. I cleaned the sensors thoroughly, multiple times. No dice. The message kept coming, then turned into “temporarily unavailable”, and a few weeks later, the message became that sensors were “unavailable” always. I had always wanted a deeper scan tool, so I bought one that could do full systems scans. The code that came up was an interrupted ground in sensor 1. I let it go this whole time because I spent tons of time and money on my son’s car. And also because parking sensors are an option/accessory and don’t impact the use of the truck. Or so I thought.
This morning on remote start, the truck stumbled and almost stalled. There have been no other codes, symptoms, or issues, so I used my scanner. The codes that it pulled were “loss of connection with…” and listed 4 different systems (antilock brakes, trailer brake, PCM, and TCM). The part assist now said “loss of ground”, not just interrupted ground.
I put this all into Gemini, and it wanted me to unplug the PAM (park assist module) to at least rule that out. Gemini said the park assist ground being lost or interrupted caused interference in the CAN bus, basically the data from one system to another. That caused the loss of connection with the other systems, causing the rough start.
I unplugged the PAM this morning and cleared all codes. Then I turned it to “run”, and no codes came back except the park assist unavailable, which was expected. I let it sit for 5 hours, cold started it, and it started just fine.
What’s really interesting is that since about March, I’ve noticed less tip-in response. I didn’t pay too much attention to that since I have mods, but I did *wish* the truck kept its responsiveness. But since unplugging the PAM, that acceleration response instantly went back to what it was before.
I guess my point is to not underestimate what a simple $40 option/accessory item can do to other systems. These modern vehicles are so interconnected, and one interrupted signal that seems irrelevant can affect everything else down the data line.
Anyone know of a mobile paint touch up person? I have chipping paint on the A-pillar of my RAM. It’s a semi-long stretch of chipping. Down to the e-coat factory primer, not bare metal, right up against my windshield.
I don’t need a perfect or professional paint job; just painted and sealed to match. I can try DIY, but I’ve never done auto paint before. I’d like to get quotes from mobile scratch/dent/touch up specialists if they exist on Cape.
