في القرآن في كثير اعجازات علمية وتاريخية فعلا صدمتني وتخليني احس بالغباء اني اتجاهلها و ما اؤمن واني شخص جاهل عاصي متكبر

وبنفس الوقت في تشريعات وتطبيقات و احاديث تصدمني اكثر وتخليني اريد اطلع من الدين كله و تسبب عندي صراع ديني فلسفي واخلاقي

واشوف انه من المستحيل اتبع بعض الاشياء بحياتي الواقعية وهذي مو مجرد رغبات شخصية

ف اريد اعرف رأي الناس بهلموضوع سواء مسلمين او لا دينيين

What do you think of hookup culture and do you think the idea is the problem or the individuals who reduce women to their bodies and dehumanize them?

Because I think women should be free to talk and explore sex safely and it's not necessarily a "male dominant" Thing because women have sexual desires too, saying that only men enjoy and benefit from it is quite similar to what purity culture expect from women, I'm not saying it's completely a positive and safe thing and dismissing how that works in real life and how it was harmful to many women etc.

But the real problem is people shaming women who are still virgins and calling sex "empowering" to women and how you should be a "cool girl", while others slut shame women who discuss sex or show any desire or preference while encouraging men who do the same thing

So I'd say, this system is shit because of what both sides expect from women without women having any free choice to decide, and if we want women to be free, women should be able to choose what THEY want without facing shame, coercion, disrespect, double standards etc.. And not what society or men expect.

girls who used to wear hijab and took it off, you know how hard it is and how I'm feeling right now so i dont need to talk about it all.

I'm 18 yo and soon I'll be in college, I'm thinking about taking it off like i cannot keep wearing ts i don't pray i dont fast and hell I'm an agnostic but my family are kinda strict (even tho they don't force me to practice any other religious thing) but hijab is a sign of purity respect morality everything literally they judge any woman by her clothes, when i started wearing it at 12 at first i was ok with it and i made that choice (after they told me i have to wear it the other year) but then i started hating it and hate how i looked and told them i wanted to take it off but they didn't let me and i told them that i was wearing it for them not for god and they dismissed me thinking I'd change my mind, recently we got into a huge argument and my mom called me names and said she isn't forced to spend money on me or let me live in her house if I'm not even a muslim (which is weird because i didn't mention that i didn't believe in islam but mentioned how it's not even in the book and that i could be a muslim and not wear it) i was trying to convince them by religion and obviously it didn't go well and my dad told my mom later to try and "convince" me thinking i was influnced even though all my friends wear it and more modest than me.

after all that i was planning to either take it off behind their backs in college at least and i hesitated because i don't want to lie it's a huge thing for me and they might find out and even restrict my life and watch me more idk what they would do and i dont want them to find out so I'd choose a far away uni.

or be stubborn and start dressed less modest like show my hair and gradually take it off and i already started wearing tighter and shorter shirts and if they interfere I'd tell them it's my choice only and if i was going to burn in hell then it's me and not them but i dont know how they would react.

so what would you suggest for me?

هل يعقل ان يخبرك اله انك لا تضرني ولا تنفعني لكن يعذبك لو لم تمتثل لاوامره وبنفس الوقت انت مجبر على الايمان به خوفا لكي تنجو من هذا العذاب حتى لو لم تكن غير مؤمن قلبا مع عدم اختيارك لحمل هذه المسؤولية او وجودك؟

وان كان هذا صحيح وانه الدين الصحيح فنحن لا قوة لنا ولا حرية فكرية ولا غاية لوجودنا غير ان نعبد هذا الاله ونرضيه و سنحاسب فعلا في النهاية لان هذه اوامره ونحن اخترنا ان نعصيها
