1. Beautiful y$l reversible bag - two looks in one. Easily reverse this bag for either suede or leather version. Branding of hardware on both sides is beautiful and heavy. Genuine leather and suede, chain is hefty and brand stamping is beautiful! Purchased from Hoshi and while site is considered mid I'd place this higher, it's extremely well done. Its dustbag included. $160 shipped

I've owned this bag from three different factories over the year and here are my rankings along with the biggest differences I noticed:

187 
·       Leather is thicker/stiffer (so the ears stand upright) which I love
·       Leather has more of a beautiful sheen to it without polish
·       The quilting on the bag is not too puffy or too flat, just like OG
·       Interior cloth is considerable thicker than my GF or XC
·       Chain feels heftier and the leather interwoven between the chain is more grained
·       Gold embossed branding is more pronounced
·       CON: the chain is not as smooth as my XC or GF versions….I know it’s still new and I will condition it with some polish but worth noting

GF
·       Leather has a good thickness similar to 187
·       Quilting is more flat all throughout the bag
- no noticeable reflective sheen without polish
·       Interior cloth is a thinner than 187
·       Overall a CLOSE second to 187. Honestly Lele told me to save my cookies and go with GF since from her experience for this particular bag GF was best value/quality but I was stubborn and went with 187. However, for a second bag of this style (eyeing the silver hardware now), I’ll definitely go with GF to make it more affordable. 

XC (purchased a year ago in size Medium)
·       Leather was thinner and ears drooped all the time
·       Quilting was puffier and looked kind of sloppy after a while
·       The chain was the SMOOTHEST on this bag though

I purchased from Lele since shes great and had the lowest price I came across for 187. She can also source extra DUST BAGS and accessories (like separate bag chains) through a third-party supplier. Since sellers are located in that part of the world shipping is very quick and Lele included those extras with my order before sending everything out. 

I was actually really impressed with the beige LV dust bag - so luxe for only $3 (she didn't charge me)!

One thing I also like is that for shipping, she always waits until the end to calculate the exact shipping cost instead of estimating (or overestimating) it upfront.

I paid for the bag myself and these are just my personal observations after comparing three factories. No regrets...except now I want one in silver hardware 🫣

This bag is slouchy and super soft! I purchased from a rehome for content purposes only (never worn out) and is in perfect condition. 🏭 is unknown but I'd say birdcage quality. Makes the perfect travel or even everyday bag (mod shot in last photo). Or a Perfect gift for Father's Day! Priced to sell since I rotate my bags often. Packed From Cali with care.

I had to try the Brera in the large size!  And I actually think she suits my frame nicely and doesn’t feel too big at all.  I’m personally drawn to larger bags because I feel they help flatter my frame and give me a little extra coverage where I want it most on my side profile. I also like how you can wrap the green/red strap around the bag - kinda neat.

This bag is extremely well made, the canvas is of a thick heavy material (posted a few comparison pics from boutique). I have a similar vintage Gooshi piece I purchased years ago and it’s now starting to show wear on the bottom so happy with the price of this one as I love the freedom to not always have to baby my bags. She’s a total showstopper :)

Love sharing good finds so...

I've been looking for a slouchy everyday LV bag and couldn't quite pull the trigger on the neverfull and really wanted some different. And then I remembered the Atlantis ☺️ I wanted this bag when it first came out so the fact that it was still available for purchase from the factories had me pleasantly surprised!

And the price? $130 I couldn't believe it honestly. From Birdcage factory 🏭 I purchased two one to gift so shipping was extra.

I own mostly pre loved bags so this fit my style and is such a fun piece. Love that it comes with all these extra pieces (pouch, shoulder strap, luggage tag, leather attaches) and can be worn multiple ways.

Purchased from my new go to seller Lele ✨ She's so kind, responsive and extremely knowledgeable. My first psp had a tiny tear in one of the leather pieces and she immediately let me know she sent it back without me even having to mention it. She's on it and can source all of the factories at affordable prices 💸 Sharing her info below.

WINNER:  187! I will not sugar coat this in anyway it won in almost every aspect and here is why…
***

Caviar Leather EXTERIOR
·       187 Quilting is tighter, flatter, smoother which is closest to Auth.
·       187 leather is more smooth and as grainy as GF appeared to be
·       It looks beautifully worn in (can pass for pre 2015 bag due to the type of screws on plate, serial sticker and auth card). I typically purchase preloved so this aligns nicely.
·       SHAPE GF is more boxier and a teeny bit larger than the 187

Caviar Leather INTERIOR
OK so this is where I really noticed the DIFFERENCE in feel but unfortunately does not show too well on photo:
·       187 leather is SIGNIFICANTLY better. it has a luxurious thick grained leather feel.
·       GF, the interior feels flat and smooth overall, slightly plastic ☹. And definitely not as grained or luxurious feeling, almost not like real leather when compared directly to 187. The quality of the leather is immediately NOTICEABLE when it comes to the interior. So if that is important to you in addition to the outside, then 187 is worth the extra price.  Also, The interior bottom base of the bag on GF is not as tight or clean on the GF compared to the 187
·       187 color of interior is more of a deep rich burgundy, GF is a paler shade.

HEAT STAMP
·       Heat stamp on 187 is deeper/more pronounced and you definitely can see/feel the difference, especially when you rub your fingers over it…again 187 is a closer match to the Auth.

CHAIN
·       187 is a smidge heavier AND has more of a noticeable buttery smoothness to it. No squeaky noise!
·       GF chain squeaked! It does have a good weight to it, however, it definitely lacks that buttery smoothness – it did need polishing to help with the squeaking and does not glide as easily as 187.
·       Also the leather interwoven on the chain is cleaner on 187 overall, GF kept getting stuck at the grommets due to extra thick leather interwoven on the chain

Black CARD
Lastly, just wanted to compared the card to an Auth Card. I recognize 187 no longer makes the serial sticker + Auth card (which is TOO BAD) but since this was an older model and came with one, I thought why not compare.
·       Overall 187 is a very close match in terms of both look and feel
·       The numbers are embossed and feel the same as my auth card
·       It’s reassuring to know that even from a couple of years ago, 187 was still doing a fantastic job when it came to the CF

In closing, it pains me to say that GF for this size of the CF is more mid tier (in my opinion) whereas 187 is HIGH and closest to Auth. I seriously feel and believe I am wearing an auth piece with this bag. 

I’ll also shamefully add that I’ve previously read plenty of reviews where ppl noted that “187 is the best for Chanel CF” but it didn’t phase me to be honest - -  I still went for the better price option especially when VISUALLY GF looks exceptional.  HOWEVER, now that I’ve had the two side by side, I can definitely see and FEEL the difference.  And at the end of the day, I believe it comes down to the FEEL and LOOK when trying to get to as close as possible to the Auth.

I never cared about the “FEEL” factor before, I was simply going for the LOOK.  I realize now that the goal is to balance BOTH; and ultimately 187 did that for me when it came to this size in particular.

Don’t get me wrong, when I first received my GF I was blown away…I mean look at her. She looks straight from the Boutique, detailed grained caviar, puffy quilting and basically looks brand new from the boutique (retails over $12K).  So  VISUALLY, God Factory did a nice job there.  However, when compared to 187 …187 is definitely closer to a match to the auth, especially if you are looking for a more preloved worn in bag.
I love both of these bags and am pleased to own each of them. 

CONCLUSION:  If you’re looking for a budget and solid option and are not too picky, GF is good.  BUT if you would like to reach the CLOSEST to AUTH, then 187 is your best option and in my opinion worth the extra cost.

I did my best taking side by side photos. No enhancements or filters were used, but keep in mind it was a sunny day and I did have them next to the window so there may be some light glare marks.  I’ve marked each photo to differentiate and hope this review helps!

I'd been looking for something like this for a while now and my TS said it couldn't be bought separately (only with the purchase of an actual soft speedy bag) which I wasn't ready to purchase financially.
So to finally find these pieces sold separately is awesome.

I feel it really upgraded my vintage speedy and looks like the soft speedy crafty 😍
