Hi! I’m traveling solo to Boracay this November. It’s my second time on the island. I stayed at La Carmela before with a friend and loved it for the free breakfast and convenient location.

This time, I’m traveling alone and La Carmela is not an option because of its eerie vibe we felt on our last day back then. Matatakutin talaga ako haha! Can you recommend a budget-friendly accommodation near the beach that’s in a lively area and feels safe for a scaredy gurlie like me? Would appreciate any suggestions!

Got really pissed off at work today. It started this morning, and up until now, hindi pa rin humuhupa. Heading home now. Any song suggestions that might help me relax or at least lessen the inis? I’d really appreciate it. Thanks.

'Di naman ako content creator. I went to Iloilo with no expectations kasi nga I thought, "it's just another city", and I just wanted to tick Western Visayas off my list. My 5-day stay there made me see why people (probably visitors like me) admire the city so much.

Only a few cities/provinces (and I've been to fifty) have this combination: cheap and delish food, maraming parks and public spaces, good public transpo, and a 20-minute roro ride to a decent beach. We don't have them here. Those are the things I long for living in northwest Laguna, working in Cavite, and annually holidaying Cebu (as a Cebuano).

I'm not gonna invalidate those who grew up, live in, and hate Iloilo because you experience these problems firsthand and on a daily basis. It's not perfect. The sea is polluted!!! Masikip at uneven ang mga kalsada, at hassle maglakad pag tag-ulan. We probably visited it on a good day. Point is, you can hate it, but there's also nothing wrong with other people appreciating it. Di po kaming mga turista ang kalaban nyo. Thanks sa pagpapahiram ng Iloilo, btw.

Hello! I have less than 8 hours in Bacolod since I’m just going there for a meeting from Iloilo and heading back the same day. Any recommendations on where I can spend my free time? I’d love to experience some of the local culture, try the food, and just take some photos with my digicam.

Also, any recommendations for a driver for hire who’d be willing to take me around to some of these places? I’m not really looking for anything too extensive—just a nice, chill way to explore Bacolod for a few hours.

Hello! I have an upcoming trip to Taiwan this October, and it was already booked, but the friend I was supposed to travel with backed out. It was originally planned as a 7-day trip, and since this will be my first international travel, I’m honestly a bit scared to go alone.

Do you think I should still proceed, or maybe this isn’t the best time? Would it make more sense to shorten the trip? Seven days suddenly feels like a long time, and I’m starting to wonder if I should just not go at all. I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts.
