18M | looking for long term similar friends who has same thoughts as me ( read description)
Hey!
I'm 18 and I'm looking for genuine, long-term friends. I don't really care where you're from—as long as you enjoy good conversations and actually want to get to know someone.
I'm a huge nerd. I spend way too much time reading about random topics, watching documentaries, learning new things, and going down internet rabbit holes just because something caught my attention.
I love video games, technology, psychology, history, business ideas, and anything that makes me think. I also enjoy trying new experiences whenever I get the chance.
One thing about me that most people find a little weird: I don't dream of living the same life forever. To me, staying in one place with one job for decades sounds boring. My idea of stability is the freedom to keep moving—traveling, freelancing, meeting new people, experiencing different cultures, and always having a new adventure waiting.
I'm a good listener, but I'm also very talkative once I'm comfortable. If we click, we can probably end up talking for hours without realizing how much time has passed.
I'm looking for people who are curious about the world, enjoy deep conversations as much as dumb memes, and actually want a friendship that lasts.
If that sounds like you, send me a message. Maybe we'll become friends.

Bought this 2014 Nakamura Summit Expert , looking for advice
Hi everyone!
I wanted to share a little story and hopefully get some advice from more experienced riders.
This is my very first mountain bike. I've always wanted to get into cycling, and after searching for a while, I found this 2014 Nakamura Summit Expert for only $120. I knew it wasn't perfect, but I thought it was a good opportunity to learn.
The bike does have a few issues. The front suspension is completely seized and doesn't move at all, so I know it probably needs servicing (or maybe replacing if it's beyond repair). The rear derailleur is also damaged and I'll most likely have to replace it.
Even with those problems, I'm really happy to finally own my first bike and I'm excited to start learning more about maintenance and riding.
I'd love to hear your opinions:
Do you think it was a good deal for $120?
What would you repair or upgrade first?
Is the fork worth servicing, or should I save up for a replacement?
And finally, what advice would you give to someone who is completely new to mountain biking?
Thanks! I'm looking forward to learning from all of you
