Is temporary plate still allowed?

Can't find any info that's updated on this topic, so posting lang this to make sure na I don't do anything wrong before I make my next step.

So 1 month na wala pang plate (already have OR/CR), kinukulit ko si agent pero sabi LTO daw delay. Can I make a temporary plate muna? Do I still need to ask for authorization to make it?

How to clean cement splash sa lower bumper panel

Hello everyone. Ano kayang pedeng cleaning solution dito?

Corolla Cross HEV, Haval 7 or BYD Sealion 5/6 DM-i for light use, worth it?

Torn between Corolla Cross HEV, Haval H7, and Sealion 5/6 DM-i, first time buying brand new

Long-time 2nd hand car guy here, mostly used units, know my way around older engines a bit. This is actually going to be my first brand new car purchase and I'm going back and forth.

Started out set on the Corolla Cross HEV, mainly for the reliability rep, spare parts, dealer network and resale. Only real gripe is it's a full hybrid, not a plug-in, so it's not saving me as much on gas as I'd want at prices like these.

Was also considering the Haval H7, the price point caught my attention. But I realized GWM's dealer network here is still pretty thin compared to BYD's, which has been expanding fast. If something breaks and I'm not near one of the few GWM branches, that's a real headache. Took the H7 down a peg for me just on that alone.

Which brings me to the Sealion 5 and 6 DM-i. PHEV, much wider dealer footprint than Haval, and the EV-only range is what's actually interesting since this car won't be a daily driver for me, just errands around my place plus maybe 2-3 longer trips a month.

For anyone who's actually owned or driven any of these:

  • Coming from old-school mechanical cars, how different is the ownership/maintenance mentality with a hybrid or PHEV? Anything that surprised you?
  • Does the Sealion DM-i's EV-only range actually hold up in real Metro Manila traffic and heat, or is it more of a lab number?
  • Anyone dealt with GWM's after-sales given the smaller network, good or bad experience?
  • Anyone regret going full hybrid over PHEV (or the reverse) for a similar light-use pattern?

Not fully decided yet, just want real ownership experience before committing to something brand new for the first time.

Somewhere / Support Shepherd used to be solid, now the process is a mess

I’ve been in their pipeline twice now, first when they were still Support Shepherd and more recently as Somewhere.

The first experience was actually really good. A Pinay recruiter handled my application, kept me updated, and only forwarded me to roles that genuinely matched my skills and CV after checking if I was okay with it. It was simple and respectful. She even followed up after each client interview to ask if okay ba daw yung interview ko. I had three client interviews with different companies at the time.

This latest round was the complete opposite. A recruiter scheduled an interview, then later asked to reschedule because he’d be out of office and told me to check his calendar. I shared my availability and suggested alternatives, then nothing. No confirmation, no update, no follow-up.

I understand that not everyone moves forward and that hiring teams are busy. But if your whole brand is built around managing hiring for "global clients", then ghosting someone after scheduling and having unreliable contact routes is not just a small slip. It reflects a bad process.

What frustrates me most is that I’ve seen them do it well before. Now, the quality seems to depend entirely on which recruiter you happen to get.

Question about late payment sa RCBC

Nakalimutan ko kasi bayaran yung previous billing ko then dumating na yung bill ulit this month. So ang bill ko is previous bill + current + interest.

Ok lang ba bayaran ko yung previous bill + interest muna then yung current sa due date na?

Thank you sa sasagot!
