Hello! New CZ owner here and I managed to snag one of my dream guns used at what I considered a good deal ($900) with a decent optic too! After the first range trip and some dry fire at home I’m a little disappointed in the trigger. I don’t want to sound like too much like a weiner , it is my first DA/SA automatic but I’m very familiar with revolvers with thousands of rounds through a post CZ colt python and a Ruger 22LR double action revolver. And I’d say the shadow 2 trigger is in some ways worse than both. The DA is of course heavy which is to be expected but it doesn’t feel smooth which is annoying and there’s multiple walls I have to fight through before the break. The single action is kinda disappointing too somewhere around 4.5 lbs but with more creep than I imagined from a single action hammer fired pull. Am I being a complainer? The gun seems to shoot where I point Excellent and hasn’t seemed to have any function issues in the first 100 rounds, but I feel like the trigger is just holding it back from its potential.

TLDR should send to Cajun or just train through it?

Please don’t be an idiot like me. I soaked my Dawson ICE comp in purple power cleaning solution thinking it would be mild enough to break the carbon but not the finish. I was wrong.

Done bikepacking trips and long rides that spanned several days in the past but first time building and riding a bike with all the farkles, fenders and racks. All that’s left is maybe a a big trip to test it on and maybe a dyno hub.

Velo orange fenders and a Facebook marketplace (gorix brand) front rack. Anyone here actually not enjoy the feeling of loading up luggage on a high rack like this? I think next I’m going to get a rear rack and only put high volume low weigh gear on the front like my sleeping supplies and heavier objects on the rear rack.

Bar end shifters make it feel like you’re driving a manual car.

Picked up this Marin frame on Facebook intending to build something for my girlfriend but the frame ended up being larger than advertised.

Built up with a bunch of random stuff I had in my closet. 9 speed 11-34 cassette , XT rear mech, deore triple front mech, tiagra 50-30t triple crank with ultegra stages power meter left side crank arm I thought was broken but now all of a sudden works. Dura ace friction shifters, 650b wheels and tubeless rubber. Specialized cages I was saving for Stinner frame coming in but they looked so good on this. Pro vibe seatpost and ritchey carbon handlebars. Waiting for a set of state cable activated hydro calipers to come in before putting on the chain, bar tape and cables. First time building up a bike from a frame in about 6 years and it’s been a lot of fun!
