My wife and I spent the night to be 14th and 15th in line at this estate sale. It opens at 9am est. we collect jadeite, uranium, slag, and anything pretty. We are not glass experts. Does anything in these pics jump out to you? I can post the link if you are curious and want to see all the craziness.
I had never seen one of these, it’s so pretty!
eBay pick up. 58 grams. It’s not sand filled, maybe a metal/plastic blend. Quality seems good, I’m pleased.
Reliable. Simple. Cheap to repair. 50 mpg. Any guesses?
Zumies had Sharks and the Footskill, and Hot Topic had the moon and bacon sand filled bags. They each had crochet bags as well, but I’m stocked up on those atm. It’s worth checking out if you have either of these stores nearby.
They are even worse in person!
Found this Swung vase late in the day! It had black paint on it that was mostly flaked off. I picked it up and was looking at it, and the guy hollars “One dollar!” It’s 22” tall and I didn’t see any chips or cracks! My wife was so happy!!
Disclosure: my 7 year old likes snowmen regardless of the season 😅
I have a bunch, over 100 Hacky sacks. With all the people trying to buy the name brand ones, a good quality Guatemalan crochet is all you need to have fun and kick with friends. Freestyle? Yeah, get something more serious, or modify one.
I’ve posted my display case before, but these were tucked away. I’ve been collecting for years, happy to see kids kicking again.
And just like that….my nerdy hobby became a flex. 😎
It’s been over 20 years since I could walk up to random people and jump in to a game of Hacky sack. People used to play at every concert, parade, park. High school during lunch, shopping centers, I need a renaissance!
