Closer Appreciation Post

I grew up as a huge Fernando Rodney fan. He was electric, and I was so excited to see him fire an arrow into the crowd after every save. I was very sad that we let him go. Little did I know, this would start the era of incredible all-star caliber closers. Brad Boxberger was sensational and so was Alex Colomé. Since then it’s been a revolving door full of scrubs, and Pete Fairbanks, who would give me tons of anxiety whenever the 9th inning came around and was talented but just not on the same level as those other guys. Bryan Baker is the closest we’ve been to 2012 Rodney. We’re finally back to having a dominant, reliable closer, and I feel so much better going into the 9th inning of games.

Does Human Meat Taste Good?

Ignoring the ethical and legal concerns, would human meat taste good? If you roasted a person over a spit like a hog, seasoned with bbq rub and squirted with apple cider vinegar, would they be delicious? I’d like to hear some thoughts from
a purely barbecue perspective

If you create a clone, that clone will inevitably create another clone, but the quality goes down.

Who Would Win?

On one side, you have Aang’s flying bison Appa. On the other side, you have Roku’s dragon Fang. To make things a little more even, Appa gets to have all of the armor that Sokka made for him for the invasion.
