Somewhat Technical Tube Amp + Attenuator Question

Hi guys! So long story short I want to go Peavey Invective.MH -> Tone King Iron Man II Attenuator -> Quad Cortex -> Quad Cortex Speaker Cab Block -> Fender FR-12. Where my question really lies is between the Attenuator and the Quad Cortex. The attenuator has a “line out” on the back and an XLR DI out (but it looks like it applies cab simulation to the DI out). Can I use the line out and just put that into input 1/2 on the Quad Cortex?

I just wasn’t sure if line out is appropriate to be used as input to the QC or not. I kind of thought it would be fine but I don’t want to damage anything. I added a picture of the back panel of the attenuator, and some screenshots from the manual where it talks about the back panel (specifically line-out and XLR DI out). Thanks in advance!

I freaking LOVE this guitar! It has a Nitro Wizard neck which I had on an Iron Label I had. This guitar is lighter than the Iron Label which I really like! It has a Nyatoh body, macassar ebony fretboard (I actually love how it’s not pitch black), panga panga walnut neck. Your typical Gotoh locking tuners.

The Fishman Fluence Modern pickups sound amazing to me honestly. I love the super aggressive modern mode, and I also really like the other humbucker mode which seems warmer, less compressed (not sure if it’s meant to emulate PAFs or not, seems hotter, anyway, love it).

Edit to add: I bought this used off of reverb for $699 + shipping and tax. I thought that was a pretty sweet deal, and sorry if any of you were eyeing it as well 😅.

I don’t know if others will find this helpful, but I had a bit of a breakthrough recently. I’ve know the major scale in the key of C for a looong time, but I always shied away from learning it in all the keys. Everything finally clicked for me recently and I decided to write it all down! I’ve know the patterns, I’ve understood that the major scale has the “scale degree formula” for a long time, BUT(!) there were a few things that I hadn’t realized!

  1. The root notes are always in the same place for each pattern! This was slightly mind blowing. I understand it and don’t know why it hadn’t fully clicked.

  2. The steps between the patterns are always the same! This one felt like an epiphone when I realized it. Again, I know this is kind of like “yeah, no shit dude.” It just wasn’t fully sinking in for me!

So here are the practice diagrams I put together for myself. I also prefer the “Berklee three-notes-per-string” versions of all the patterns because your hand needs to move around a lot less, but I understand there’s CAGED and whatever else. If you find them helpful on your journey, great! If not, or you are WAY past this stuff, great! I hope someone finds this helpful.

This is a 2018 Gibson SG special that I’m considering getting. I know the pickups are EMGs, but are they EMG’s take on a P-90 or something else? Active, passive? Never seen that profile before. The seller wasn’t sure/wasn’t all that helpful.
