Long story short, i replaced the ignition switch with a factory Yamaha part and rebuilt the carburator. All the lights work and the battery is good. The the bike won't turn over with the button, but it will bump start. The button did work a few times but never figured out why it did or didn't. Any ideas other than rechecking the connection from the new switch? Thanks in advance gents.
Id like to add some D ring mounts to the stake pockets but I havent found anything that looks strong enough. Ive seen a bunch of mounts like the ones pictured, but the reviews dont sound great if your putting a lot of load on them. Im strapping down dirtbikes and id rather not run straps through the spokes. Having a D ring higher up would solve the problem but id rather something that bolts onto the bed, not the cheap little sheet metal hooks on these. I could fabricate something but surely somebody out there has already solved this problem.
Has anyone installed and aftermarket radiator fan that turns on at lower temps? I watched a video where a guy installed a generic tusk fan with a thermostat that turned on at 200 or 220. Maybe its just becuase the trail tech dash shows me the temp and thats got me thinking about it. My '19 430 regularly gets up to 240 on low speed steep stuff after only a little while. Outside temps around 80. (All temps listed in Fahrenheit)
Im looking for some help identifying which one of these i need. There's no explanation as to the differences, and one of the pictures looks totally different from the others and appears to not have a place to mount a license plate. Is there anybody who has one of these? I emailed taco moto and they haven't got bsck to me yet. Also, will i loose the ability to mount my tail bag using the subframe mounts? The 1st pic is what i think i need, but i don't know which item to select in the drop-down menu. Thanks in advance

Anybody out there have experience turning Hastelloy? I just wasted 2 days trying to make a Hastelloy version of a 316 VAR part that I literally make by the 100,000s. Same exact dimensions out of 2 1/2" bar stock. Got different inserts, switched the few HSS drills needed to carbide, went by the manufacturers recommended speeds/ feeds. Id get 2 or 3 parts out of a a side of an insert, and then everything took a shit all at once. We're not even removing that much material. Turning, boring, drilling, od threading threadmilling, its all shit... Tore it down and went back to the usual stuff. Not sure what to do now.
