People with best friends, how often do you meet/speak?

I've known my best friend since highschool. We are meeting pretty regularly, usually once a week or other week. We live in the same city and are on the same "life stage" so it's easy.

The thing is sometimes our conversations are flat. And its not only on my side, I can also see it in my friend. I feel like we are trying to keep the conversation going and it sometimes hit but sometimes it just drags for hours.

I wonder if we should just slow down a bit and meet more irregularly? What's your thoughts on it? Do you think this is a good idea or not?

I'm a little bit on the fence....I always felt like our friendship is so strong and keep going because we are seeing each other constantly. If we would meet for example once a month, that could make our relationship more difficult.

Question for people that currently take Amitryptyline

So I take this antidepressant for about 5 months now. It was prescribed to me by the neurologist to treat tension/chronic headaches. Long story short, I found the cause of my headaches and I'm planning to either stop this medication or taper it down.

I realised quickly after first dose (25mg) that it treats my IBS-D, rather my headaches. I also suddenly was happier and less dramatic, so the antidepressant effect also was working on me. That being said, I currently take 75mg (dosage for treating pain) and it seems like a lot of people here takes only 10mg.

Can anyone please share your expierience with this medication, if you currently taking it, and what dosage. Also, have you started with lower dosage than the current one? Anyone here tried to taper it down completely and have your IBD symptoms came back afterwards? Have you tried different/similar medications and what doctor prescribe them to you?

Can drusen cause eye strain?

I've been dealing with what feels like "eye strain" in my left eye, on the outer corner. I went to both neurologist and opthometrist. The later told me I have drusen in my left eye but this is nothing to be concerned about and that I just need to check once every year. I also have a nearsightedness but I dont drive so I dont really need glasses. However, I have second thoughts.

I noticed every time I work in front of the screen or start reading a book, my outer corner of left eye bothers me. Even now, when I'm writing this I feel it again. It's a minor pain/sensation that something is in my eye. I read that drusen does not cause pain but I have doubts now and don't know who to trust... It seems logical to me that if I see letters and the vision is not blurry then I shouldn't wear glasses. Any advice?

The opthometrist said I don't need glasses....

How to style this coffee table?

I have this long coffee table with orange glass on top and brown shelf underneath. I was thinking of buying two or one boxes to go on the shelf to put TV stuff in them. But I have no idea what to put on top. It kind of looks weird without anything on. What do you think?

How do you calm yourself down while being alone

What's your methods/remedies whenever you have stressful time in life or when you expect like a stressful event in your near future?

While living alone, I rarely encounter stress. I have stable job, some hobbies I'm familiar with. From time to time I meet with friends or family but I know them very well. I just don't expose myself to a lot of "new"/"stressful" things or activities. But then once in a blue moon I have the event or a meeting and I'm completely paralized by stress. I'm working on exposing more to new opportunities but I need help right now. I'm just a ball of anxiety.

What do you do to help you go through that phase? I know after the thing, it will be fine but the anticipation is horrendous.
