Right now it only recognizes IPods for USB aux, any chance there’s is a software update to make it recognize my iPhone? I only ask since there’s no aux port.

I’m starting as an IT student in the fall and I’m having trouble finding a laptop that fits my budget, I’m told I should have at least 16gb ram, 1TB storage and a decent cpu and an Ethernet port that can handle programming and networking.
Any suggestions?
