My very first tattoo 7 years ago vs today

It was a little flash tattoo that I got on Friday the 13th in 2019. Every artist who sees it now says it looks terrible but I still love it as much as the day I got it.

Portable washer and dryer

So this is probably against our lease but what they don’t know won’t hurt them. We hooked a portable washer up to the water line under the sink. The washer costed $100 and the parts to hook it up costed $50. We also got a portable dryer and that was $50 on Amazon. I’m not saying do it this way but if you wanted to it’s a lot more affordable than moving to an apartment with hookups! Told my friends I’m basically a plumber now 😂

I don’t deserve friends.

I picked the wrong person. I supported her through everything when she was the one in the wrong. She’s never been a good friend to any of us. I’m an idiot. I’m so mad at myself for picking her when the friend group split up. The others had their problems too but they were never as heartless as she is. Why did I pick her? I’m so pissed that I can’t go back. Now I just have to live with what I did. I was a part of the problem and now I have to pay for that.

▲ 104 r/cults

So I’ve accidentally joined quite a few cults…

It’s like I’m addicted to those first experiences. Where everything feels bright and happy. Like the world is working as it should and I’m right where I should be. Does anyone else experience this? I don’t mean to join the cults but man it’s so easy to fall into it. Especially in the Bible Belt. They prey on lonely people. I feel so stupid for falling into so many but I still crave those first impressions. Everyone around you is so happy. The reason I leave so soon is because I hate feeling controlled. I guess I’m lucky for that but I still feel like an idiot. I always end up giving them my money and way too much of my time. It’s hard to build a life like this. One year clean of joining cults thanks to my therapist and my husband.

A few kinds of cults I’ve joined over the years

Several Christian cults disguised as churches
A business cult (think MLM/pyramid scheme with a very charismatic leader who made people spend all their money on random crap)
An activism cult (we fed homeless people but we were guilted into quitting our jobs so we could dedicate all our time to helping unhoused people. The irony is several people in the group became unhoused themselves because they didn’t have jobs anymore)
A spiritualism cult (basically hippies that make you not eat for weeks at a time to “connect to the earth”)

Idk just something I was thinking about that frustrates me but some might find it interesting. It’s all okay I’m learning to laugh about it. Don’t worry about me I’m doing great now!

2021 Hyundai accent 1.6l maintenance

I bought my car at a ford dealership where they do free oil changes and inspections. They inspected my car today and said I need a transmission fluid change and a fuel induction service. I asked my dad to help me with the transmission fluid change (the internet said I’d need to go to a professional for the other one) but now my mom is telling me I don’t need either. I just need to add a gas additive to my tank (which I do every 8000 miles like my manual says). My question is, do I need to get these things done? My car has almost 60k miles on it. My mom says it’s a closed transmission with lifetime fluid and the manual reflects that but I don’t trust that. I had a transmission go out before

2021 Hyundai Accent 1.6L 4 cyl timing belt

My dad told me when I first bought this car I’d need to change the timing belt when it got to 60k miles. Well we are at 55k and I’m going on a road trip in July so it’s about that time. Can I change it myself? I don’t like going to the mechanic much and I do most of my maintenance on it myself. I’m good at following a YouTube video. Does anyone have any advice?

not sure where to start but I’m wanting to save up to buy a house. I want to sell food to folks on job sites out of my car. kind of like a food truck but smaller scale and I’d cook the food at home and bring to the job site. I want to do this legally of course but idk where to start. I’m in Texas. what kind of licensing would I need? how do taxes work? my mom did this when I was a kid but it was all under the table. I obviously want to use my earnings for a down payment on a house and the lenders are going to need to know where that money came from so I have to do this 100% legally.
