Pat drying rinseless - issues

I’ve been trying to pat dry our two cars after using rinseless wash, and not having great luck with one of them.

Using TRC liquid8tor towels. Have had these towels for 3 years, always used Rags to Riches soap, hang dry on indoor rack. They are not as soft as when new.

My process for washing: wet entire car with rinseless wash, sponge contact, wet car again before drying. I work in a garage, so out of sunlight.

One car is a light color, don’t notice any issues. The other is a dark blue. When done with contact wash I can see the drops with encapsulated dirt, normal when using rinseless. But if I pat dry, the towel will not pick up all the dirt, I can clearly see the outlines of the droplets that were holding the dirt. I have to drag towel across surfaces to completely remove.

Anyone else pat dry rinseless? Ivan says you can blow dry rinseless, and I can confidently say that doesn’t work!

Thanks for any advice.

Shocks for first TT-02 build

First build, so don’t need any high performance upgrade, just something a step up from stock.

Something like this work?

I have bearing kit coming.

Thanks!

Binding Spektrum receiver

Should be simple. Receiver is in bind mode, turn on radio, nothing happens. I have waited longer than in clip, no difference.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for any help!

Trouble getting new Axial Coyote to settle down

Just picked up a Coyote, used, but never even been out on any dirt, but it handles very oddly, at least compared to my other crawlers.

Take it out to my test area, and it has an issue with the front rising up when the rear wheel drops in a hole. Climbing straight up, no issues at all, but drop a rear wheel, and it gets sketchy. My other crawlers are an Injora Rock Buggy, which is SCX10.2 based, a Traxxas TRX4 Sport, and a Capra. I can take the Sport or the Injora over the same lines with no issues, but the Coyote struggles.

The Coyote has brass outer portal covers, and a Hobbywing SE, other than that all stock. I can't see any binding in the suspension. I'm at a loss as to what to do, this is something I have not encountered before.

Is there something I can do to help with this? I would prefer not to get into extensive modifications.

Any help is appreciated.

crawling spots in Boise, ID?

Going to be house and dog sitting in Boise, east side of the city, and plan on taking a couple crawlers. Anyone here know of some crawling spots I can check out while there?

Thanks!

Put motor in a different chassis. Everything spins freely by hand, can spin drive train by turning stub axle by hand.

When applying throttle the ESC whines when trigger first pulled, then goes quiet, motor doesn’t turn.

Anyone know what is going on here? Was having no problems when I removed it from the rig.

Thanks

Have a few crawlers, never had one with dig, never had an Axial. Looking at the Coyote, but would like to add dig. The Axial dig conversion kit is listed OOS, or discontinued, can’t find it on any trusted site.

What are my options? Will one of the inexpensive transmissions with dig built in from Amazon work? Anyone try one?

Thanks!
