my idea:

to my eyes sniping bots look for keywords, key category and key tags, then flag the listing to track the price, if it stays down then at the last second it bids until it wins, if it goes up then it would depend on the algorithm the bot is using, it could bid more it could bid less,

this sucks for buyers like me, possibly its good for you, higher sale prices, i just lost a game wave that i was wining and had the only bid up until the last 2 seconds, where it bid a whole bunch, i think it was 4 bots bidding vs each other, in the end the thing that i almost got for 15$ went to 67$, a game wave in that condition should only realistically go for 50$

but that's where i got an idea, bots seem to target collectables, game consoles and electronics, so what if we did something like

"rare find, tiger game (ip partner, ie: transformers) old for entertainment and fun, i dont need it anymore"

rare: bots look for that, tiger: the product is a tiger lcd game console that goes for 20$, ip/partner is another key word, bots like brand names, old: sounds like someone that doesn't know what they have, using instead of vintage might make the bots want it more rather then less, for entertainment: basic like saying entertainment system lots of bots most likely have this in their scan words, i dont need it anymore: sounds unprofessional, like someone is getting rid of something quick, and doesn't know what its worth

would this be braking eBay's TOS? as your not running the bots yourself

any other ideas to stop bots
