Yesterday's meals

Yesterday I had some chocolate, candy, ice cream and a pint of cider - and still managed to keep the count at 1199! Felt like a cheat day :)

The most gentle ways to exfoliate?

I'm currently writing this with ice packs on my swollen face. I have been using salicylic acid once a week for months, except for the last one when I got a mild rash under my eye and stripped my skincare to the bare necessities to let it heal. Yesterday I felt like it was healed and I used the ordinary salicylic acid on my cheeks only... This morning I needed to go get prescription drugs for the flared eczema on my face.

I'm not sure if this is because of the SA or if it just wrecked my already compromised skin but I really don't feel like using it ever again. However when I finally do get rid of this and my skin is healthy again, what kind of exfoliating products would be the safest, most gentle ones to try? I'm prone to closed comedones and sebum buildup.

Tell me about honey perfumes

Ellis Brooklyn Bee was my first and only blind buy ever, and I absolutely love it, the honey, boozy rum and warm spicyness. The 10ml bottle is however close to finishing and no matter how much I love it, 150€ for 50ml just feels too much for this particular perfume.

And because the selection in stores around here is utterly poor, I might have to risk it again and try another honey blind buy. Please tell me about any honey perfumes you know! Warm and spicy ones, gourmands, florals, the ones you love or hate. For blind buy purposes I prefer the cheaper side, but I'm interested also in pricier ones if I have a change to sample them.

Strongly perfumed makeup?

I just bought Girlcult Compendium of Materia Medica lipstick and it has this reeally strong, rose perfume smell. I can get how this might be a dealbreaker for many, but I absolutely love it. It's like a perfume for lips! Do anybody have any recs for makeup products where the scent is part of the experience?
