Brawlcelona FC - Looking for Chill Players [US East or West]

Brawlcelona FC is recruiting!

Looking for a relaxed group to play Pro Clubs, rank up, and have a good time without the competitive stress? Brawlcelona FC is looking for players to join the squad!

We are a casual group of players who love football, but we also have real-world lives, families, and jobs. We win together, lose together, and mostly just laugh off the EA server glitches.

What we are about:

  • Zero Stress: No minimum match requirements or mandatory training. Jump on when you have free time, drop out whenever real life calls.
  • Team Football: We don't care if you're an 80 overall or a 95. Just move the ball, look for the open man, and share the wealth. No room for ball hogs or hero ball.
  • Good Vibes: Banter is highly encouraged, but toxicity or raging at teammates is an immediate red card.

Positions Needed: We are flexible and people rotate around depending on who is online, but we have broad roles set up for Attackers, Midfielders, Defenders, and Goalkeepers. If you're a Utility Player who is down to play anywhere, you're our MVP.

If you want a chill locker room to unwind, play some good football, and rank up together, feel free to join our discord!

LFC (ST) - NAE/NAW

Strikers LF a second club. Main club is just friends who play every now and then, would love to play more often! Can’t play every night but since I’m a dad, but a couple of times a week would be ideal.

NA East/West - Finisher playstyle but unselfish. Can play up top and involve other players, finding open passes to create a full attack.

Avg match rating is 8.3. Goal to assist ratio is 1:1.

🛠️ Subreddit Updates: New Flairs, Widgets, Automations, and a Quick Intro!

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself real quick. I recently joined the mod team here at r/RealSaltLake! Some of you might already know me from the Riot Discord server, which I created and have been running for the last 3 years. I'm super stoked to help out on the subreddit 😄

I've spent the last few days tinkering under the hood to clean things up and make the sub a bit easier to use. Here’s what’s new as of today:

1. Basic Rules & Spam Filters

We finally wrote down some basic subreddit rules in the sidebar to keep things from getting out of hand. I also set up AutoMod to instantly nuke any racist, toxic, or spammy garbage. This sub is inclusive to everyone and everyone deserves to be here.

2. Mandatory Post Flairs

To keep the main feed from becoming a mess, you'll now need to pick a post flair before submitting a post. It just makes it way easier for everyone to quickly sort through match threads, news, and discussions.

3. Updated Player Flairs

The user flairs were pretty outdated, so the list has been updated with some current players. Hit the sidebar on desktop (or the three dots in the top right on mobile) to pick a flair and rep your favorite players.

4. A Cleaner Sidebar & Quick Links

The schedule widget on the sidebar has been optimized for easier readability. Additionally, we've added filters so users can search for specific post flairs to search for any information they were looking for quicker.

5. Quick Links

Clickable external links to our Discord server, Salt Lake Til We Die and Ticket Exchange groups on Facebook have been updated so its a quick click instead of a copy/paste.

What do you want to see next?

Right now, we're working behind the scenes on a massive Subreddit Guide for matchdays, stadium rules, and more. We'll be covering the best tailgating spots, parking, bag policies, stadium food, and more.

What other features, changes, or upgrades do you want to see on the sub?

Drop your ideas, feature requests, or your best tailgating tips for the new guide in the comments below. Go RSL!

Any other rookies tired of hotlapping alone?

Hey everyone,

I recently got into iRacing and realized pretty quickly that while the sim is incredible, grinding out of the rookie license and trying to figure out setups, telemetry, and track limits completely solo is rough.

Being 36 and trying to find a solid group of people to run practice laps with or draft within the official series hasn't been easy, so I decided to just build a hub for us to connect.

If you're also a rookie (or even a veteran who just wants a chill place to hang and help some newer drivers out) and you're looking for people to actually race with, drop a comment or shoot me a DM. I'll send you an invite link to the server.

See you on the track!

[The Riot Report]: Brilliant Flashes, The Luna Snub, and Summer Transfer Anxiety

Read: The Riot Report: Brilliant Flashes, The Luna Snub, and Summer Transfer Anxiety

The Riot Report: First Half Reflections, The Luna Snub, and Summer Transfer Anxiety

Welcome back to The Riot Report. I’ve had some time (4 months!) to sit back and really digest what we’ve seen from Real Salt Lake so far in 2026. We’ve officially reached the midway point of the 2026 season, and with the World Cup kicking off in just over a week, it’s the perfect time to look back at what we’ve witnessed so far and panic a little bit about what’s coming next.

The First Half: Brilliant Flashes and Frustrating Drops

If you asked me to describe RSL’s first half of the season, it’s been a mix of total euphoria and pulling my hair out. We’ve seen games where we look like legitimate MLS Cup contenders, knocking the ball around and playing teams right off the pitch. Then we turn around the next week and drop points in the final minutes from a goofy defensive lapse or a lack of clinical finishing.

But honestly? Look at the table. We are right in the thick of it in the Western Conference. Despite some inconsistency and a couple of frustrating draws, this team has a ton of grit. Entering the international break where we are gives us a massive platform to launch a real playoff push. If we can turn just a fraction of those ties into wins, we may just find ourselves out of the first round of the playoffs this year.

The Outrage: Diego Luna’s World Cup Snub

Let’s talk about the absolute robbery that dropped recently. The USMNT World Cup roster came out, and in my opinion, leaving Diego Luna off the list is a certified joke.

As a fan who watches him week in and week out, it makes zero sense. Luna is the creative heartbeat of our attack. When RSL needs someone to unlock a stubborn, low-block defense, he’s the one pulling the strings, finding pockets of space out of nowhere, and playing with total fearlessness. International tournament football is built for players who can create a magical moment out of nothing, and the national team completely missed the boat on him. It’s infuriating that he won’t be on the pitch for a domestic World Cup, but hopefully, he treats this massive disrespect as absolute fuel for the rest of the year.

The Big Fear: The International Break Transfer Window

Which brings us to what’s next, and honestly, this upcoming break is giving me massive anxiety. The rumor mill is already spinning, and there is a very real, terrifying possibility that we could lose Diego Luna, Zavier Gozo, or both before the second half of the season even kicks off.

Luna has had eyes on him from scouts for a minute now, and his incredible creativity only turns up the heat. If a massive European bid comes in during this window, it’s going to be incredibly tough for the front office to say no. On top of that, young talent like Gozo is constantly turning heads, and big clubs love poaching high upside prospects during major international breaks.

Losing either of them completely changes our ceiling for the rest of the year. If they both exit, we are going to need a massive, immediate investment in the transfer market just to stay afloat. New RSL ownership has proven they are willing to spend, but how far will that bill go?

If the roster stays intact, we have everything we need to make a legitimate run. But for the next few weeks, I’ll be glued to the transfer tracker, holding my breath.

Enjoy the World Cup, keep the predictions flying in the Discord, and let’s pray we see our core guys still wearing Claret and Cobalt when July rolls around.
