WUTHERING HEIGHTS ENDING WAS LOWKEY CREEPY

Just wanted to talk about this book here since none of my friends read :)

Is it just me or was heathcliffs death super unsettling. Although I'm so glad that Cathy and hareton end up together!! My heart felt sad for Hareton getting caught up in the whole revenge plot but it was really nice seeing him happy.

And honestly I feel bad for linton too. His upbringing is what caused him to be a brat.

Anyway I'd love to hear other people's thoughts

Clinical Pharmacy

Hii I'm hopefully going to start pharmacy school this year and I just wanted to talk to some clinical pharmacists to learn more about their experiences.

I think clinical pharmacy is really cool since you get to be involved in patient care. If someone works as a clinical pharmacist could you tell me what your average day-to-day looks like?

I'd love to hear about your experience!

Do you listen to your mind or your heart while choosing a career?

DISCLAIMER: this is kind of a rant, I'm really anxious and need to get this out but I would appreciate any advice anyone has to offer. Or I'd also like if u could just share ur experience in choosing a career.

I'm insanely passionate about biology, healthcare, learning how our mind works, and anything along those lines, like so passionate to the point I actually feel a physical spark inside me when Im learning and doing stuff related to this. I'm specifically interested in the intersection of healthcare and AI. I'm also a really curious person and want to get into research. I also plan on getting a PhD.

Unfortunately, where I live, healthcare jobs are extremely saturated.

I am planning on moving abroad after my degree but then I get scared and start thinking what if that doesn't work out and I'm stuck here? And it's not as if my country has no jobs related to this field but it's just that they are kinda low paying and idk if it's a good plan B. My main goal is not to earn a very large amount of money, but I want it to be enough to give me and my future family a comfortable life.

So my main dilemma is that I got into two separate programs. In one uni I got into Fintech and in another I got into pharmacy.

Now I'm getting different advice from everyone. And I see where all of them are coming from.

  1. Do Fintech bcs it's in demand. I get it. It is. I just find it really dry and boring and idk if I can make myself care enough to learn extra skills alongside my degree which is what really counts these days.

  2. Do pharmacy bcs you're passionate about it and good this kind of stuff so you'll naturally do well and work harder in this field.

Idk what to do. I'm so freaking stressed out i just don't want to choose the wrong degree.

Maybe I should just choose Fintech and try to pivot to something like bioinformatics/ health IT something afterwards? But then these fields are not very AI resistant. Atleast with pharmacy I might have some form of employment? Idk. I feel like I can make it work in whatever field I go into but I really don't want it to come to that point of desperation.

Why is Pakistan the opposite of the whole world?? (Kind of a rant)

On all the international subs, everyone says healthcare is good and stable and you'll alwayys be employed. BUT WHY NOT HERE.

I'm so passionate about health care. Like I actually feel happy learning about it and I'm good at it too. I just want to work in something that is related to health care but everywhere I go people are telling me not to pursue this and to work in tech/ai/finance. I don't want to do that. But I also dont want to be unemployed/underemployed yk.

I want to do pharmacy or bioinformatics. These fields actually excite me A LOT. But I also applied to fast as backup in Fintech and now everyone is telling me to choose this and make a smart and practical decision based on the state of the world and I'm so confused now.

Something about me, I do plan on going abroad for work in the future if I need to, but going abroad isn't easy and i don't like planning my whole future on me going abroad when idk if I'll even be able to do that. I want a local plan B in case abroad doesn't work.

I don't know what to do. Any piece of advice for me??

Pharmacy Background?

Can you break into the bioinformatics industry with a pharmD? And is it a good pathway for someone who wants to work in drug discovery or adjacent pathways?

Also for this, do you need to go back to uni for another degree or can this be accomplished by self learning, online courses and projects etc

Riphah Vs Shifa for PharmD?

Hello, I'm planning on doing pharmD from either riphah or shifa. But I don't know which university would be better for me.

A bit about my goals is that I would like to work in the pharma industry rather than clinical (this might change if I end up liking clinical).

Most people say that shifa is better since it's affiliated with shifa int. hospital and has better facilities but I've heard that riphah is better for industrial pharmacy. Also riphah provides a bunch of exchange programs which seems like a really cool opportunity. Riphah also offers a better scholarship.

So PLS HELP ME OUT!! 🙏🙏

Riphah Vs Shifa (isb)

Hello, I'm considering a pharmD from riphah or shifa but I need some help deciding bw the two. My current plan is to go into industry instead of clinical (but it might change) so I really dk which one to choose.

If anyone knows anything about this, please let me know. Which uni is better for pharmacy? And like overall grooming of a person etc.

I've heard that since shifa is affiliated with the shifa int hospital it would be slightly better but I've also heard that riphah offers exchange programs etc to it's students which is another really good opportunity which I *might not* get through shifa.

And riphah also has two campuses, so are they both the same or is one better? If so please lmk.

Anyone willing to help?😞

I'm considering a pharmD from riphah or shifa (Islamabad) but I don't know which university is better.

My main goal at the moment is to go into industry afterwards (although I might change my mind), so if anyone knows anything about which university would be better could you please let me know? Anything will be of help💗💗

Also, if it's riphah is there any difference in the G7 or Gulberg Greens campuses? And if one is better then which one?

The overlap of pharma and tech really interests me and I would love to do something related to it, like PV analytics or bioinformatics related stuff but applied to pharma.

But for this field, is it better to get an undergrad in pharmD (in my country we go straight into a pharmD after high school) or should I do something like business analytics for undergrad and then specialize in healthcare analytics in masters?

Which path seems more feasible?
