Caffiene is a huge trigger for me

I'm writing this to hold myself accountable and to share incase others experience the same.

As a teen and young adult I was able to drink 6 coffees a day, followed my tea, monster, sodas, you name it. But in the last few years, and especially since being diagnosed I am incredibly caffiene sensitive. 1 black tea will give me a headache.

Unfortunately the problem is I have a very addictive personality - I'm an alcoholic (sober for 3 years) and I used to smoke weed daily.

I know caffiene is no good for me but I've found myself recently binging on iced lattes at weekends then shopping (ridiculous, I know. But it gives me such a strong dopamine hit.

This weekend I did my usual and I'm now in the middle of the worst flare. My bones literally hurt. I know it's caffiene because I went months without it and never experienced this level of pain and exhaustion.

Has anybody else found the same?

Tell me the benefits you've experienced from quitting?

When I was a kid and right up to my mid 20's, I could tolerate any amount of caffiene, and feel nothing. Like 3/4 monsters a day.

I'm now 31 and have become extremely sensitive to it, like one black tea will disrupt my sleep. I know it's bad for me so I don't drink it on a regular basis.

Recently however I've been finding myself in coffee shops at the weekend as a 'treat'. I usually have a couple of iced coffees and get an incredible temporary mood boost from it. Like I feel on top of the world. What goes up must come down though and I end up paying for it throughout the week with low mood, headaches and brain fog.

It's sounds silly but getting high off the caffiene then going shopping has become something I feel addicted to. I should admit that I do have an addictive personality, and quit drinking and marijuana because of it.

Please share your experience quitting to motivate me.

Black Opium doesn't last longer than an hour on me?😩

I love this perfume so much that I splashed out on a 5oz bottle. I thought I'd post here to ask whether anybody else thinks the longevity is poor? Has it been reformulated? Or am I just noseblind?
