How f***ed am I? What do I do? Broke a stud when trying to swap to ARP studs… do I just call a mechanic at this point? I don’t have a welder and I don’t trust myself with a drill.

This is a $85 WRX wing off of eBay, it is SO close to fitting the Elantra the body lines almost match up exactly. Yes there would need to be some modifications and some holes drilled, but if you wanted to… you could make this work. The base is held on with three bolts and could easily be removed and a new base made to fit the Elantra perfectly.

The EPR wide body released for $1125, pretty impressed they kept the cost down

Is there anyone crazy enough to figure out how to 3D print the upright pieces of this wing or could adapt a WRX wing to an Elantra angle/width/bolt pattern.

Edit: I purchased a WRX wing in hopes to get more clarity on sizing for the community, hopefully next week I will have a mock up for anybody interested

Read it has something to do with the torque control could be caused by a dirty MAF sensor. I don’t have any mods besides a BOV that’s been on the car for the last 10,000 miles with no issues. Car went into limp mode, turned it off and back on, I was then able to drive normally with a check engine light on. For reference I was driving in bumper to bumper traffic, 6mt manual transmission
