hi. 2005 Super Blackbird in blue here.

there are few questions I seek answers to.

first, the idle pops when cold started and at round 40-50C coolant temp idle RPMs drop really low, close to stall if not stalling. runs fine above 70C and also runs find when holding at lets say 2k RPM, also no pops at very start if I hold it at 2k from cold start.

headlight fairing is damged, a piece is broken off and theres a long crack in it. what are the go-to options or should I just drill&ziptie it until I’ve chosen my flavor of new fairing set from some of the chinese manufacturers?

engine was replaced/rebuilt 10k or so kms ago, I have yet to figure out the reason. odo shows 78k kms on it. what should I look out for?

there are no frame sliders but I’d like to get them. what options are out there if any or should I print some out from 95A TPU?

nüüd täna ühe korteri müüja lendas kaela kui tema viimane kiri igapäevategevuste vahele ära kadus ja sisu oli umbes, et “sul raha pole, aga tahad korterit või ei?”. on see normaalne w? paraku meeleolu ei lubanud mitte vait olla ja vastasin, et enam korterit ei soovi ja edu müügiga järgnevateks aastateks nagu see senini läinud on.

on teisigi siit kes sarnase tule alla on sattunud?

or actually not, because there arent any 675SS/SR models available on second hand market in EU. either there are all new offerings or some with essentially the same price as new but with already damaged paint or worse.

I got to ride one for 20 minutes and I really like it. rode it b2b to friend’s 450MT and even if MT is better in city, I did like 675 more and its also better on highway speeds.

edit: 450SR’s are also insanely priced. crash-damaged, right side damaged with front fairing and handlebars gone has 3400€ asking price.

I’ve. seen few 5th gen go locally from 1500-2000€ and 6th gen from 2k to 4k€. I kinda like the looks on 5th gen more especially the headlight, but is it really dimmer in the dark?

hows the parts availability for these older machines? what to look out for?
