In Office Attire / Capsule Wardrobe

I (female) am returning to the workforce after being home with kids for almost 4 years. I need basically a whole new work wardrobe but want to be intentional about it. I'll either be in house or at a smaller firm (still negotiating offers), in office, and live where we get all 4 seasons.

Where are your favorite places (and if you have specific items you love that's helpful) to shop for pants, skirts, tops, dresses, and shoes?

talk to me about doc review

I'm returning to the workforce after staying home for ~4 years. I have had okay success getting interviews but only one offer (ultimately, it didn't make sense so I declined). I'm considering doc review as I think it could work well for what I'm looking for and getting back into the swing of things. additional background: I wasn't in the workforce very long prior to staying home, and most of my experience is in family law.

I'm looking for something with decent work life balance, stability and consistent hours, no/low billables. I'd love remote or hybrid work.

Please tell me all about doc review, the good and the bad. What's your day to day look like? Do you get stuck in it? Is it a good stepping stone? Even if it's monotonous, is it decent work life balance?
