Hi,
I am a FTM due in January! My husband and I are having a hard time deciding on a travel system. Our main must haves are a good safety rating, decently lightweight, and FR free. We don’t really live near anywhere that carries all of these systems in one spot, so we are having to resort to finding what we can in person and online reviews for the others to help us decide. Our list includes:
- Britax Willow Brook S
- Chicco Corso Primo
- A system that includes Nuna pipa rx
- A system that includes Uppababy aria v2
If you have any experience with any of these systems, please share them!

Hi,
I am a ftm expecting a baby boy in late January. His NIPT was low risk. I am 19w6d today. I had my anatomy scan this morning, and they said one of his kidneys is slightly dilated. He was measuring on track and weighing 11oz. I believe everything else looked good. I want to say the kidney was measuring 4.4 mm. My doctor was not overly concerned and said that nothing was raising major red flags. They want me back to 2 weeks to scan it again and go from there. I am panicked. Has anyone else had this and it resolve itself? Was it a deadly or life altering find?

hi, i am 13w2d and will be 13w3d when i would possibly go on a boat. my husband has friends coming into town. we live near a lake and they are bringing their bass boat to do some fishing. i had a great appt today and the doctor said it was fine but has anyone else been on a boat around this time and can offer any extra reassurance? i’m nervous about every little thing

hi, i’m 12w3d today. i am on progesterone suppositories. i inserted it a little after midnight. this morning, around 11 am i had a sudden feeling of watery fluid coming out. i went to the bathroom and noticed a patch of wetness in my underwear with one small spot that was white that looked like my typical discharge. i am freaking out that this is amniotic fluid. it didn’t really have much of a smell. it felt like if you get water up there from a bath and it leaks out right after. what are the chances that this is amniotic fluid? i have no OB on call or help line

Hi, FTM here. I will be 12w tomorrow. On the day I hit 7w, I woke up to brown spotting. My OB brought me in and we saw baby measuring a few days behind with HR of 122. No SCH detected on US. Unknown cause, not much reassurance. They said they “didn’t like any bleeding”. It went away next day, back the next. Almost every other day it would come back. I was 8w3d when I woke up with more brown discharge than normal mixed with pink. Panicked and went to ER, baby measuring on track FHR 167. Received rhogam shot. Hcg 98,666. Had a follow up with my OB two days later, baby measuring good FHR 172. Once again no pelvic exam, OB showed very little concern. Basically just me reassuring myself the whole appt. After that appointment it went away. I had a boutique ultrasound last week at 10w5d because my husband hadn’t seen baby yet, baby measuring on track and flipping around FHR 157. At 11w5d I woke up to what looked like to be a bit of brown discharge again. Since hitting 11 weeks, i’ve noticed more cramping that my OB was not concerned about. That mixed with possible brown discharge again has me in a full panic. I’m supposed to have my next appt July 24. I am on progesterone suppositories and may have inserted it too deep the night before but my OB said they wouldn’t expect them to cause spotting. I have also been constipated if that matters. Please help

I’m 24 F and I am currently almost 9 weeks pregnant with my first pregnancy. I have hashimotos and my OBGYN switched me to NP thyroid 60 mg in March. I was on levo 25. When I found out I was pregnant, i asked if they wanted to go ahead and do my thyroid labs and they said no, keep the follow up date in June. Between then, I have read that NP thyroid is not recommended during pregnancy. I finally got my labs back and everything looks great but my “t4 needs to increase some in pregnancy” so now they want me to take NP thyroid AND 25 of levothyroxine?? I’m very confused about this and worried for my baby. They didn’t even mention follow up labs. Baby is looking great on ultrasound and i’m very worried that adding levo or switching to levo without very close monitoring will increase my risk of miscarriage. Has anyone taken both of these while pregnant or have success switching around 8-9 weeks? I’m terrified. I have messaged my dr my concerns. TIA

UPDATE: doctor got me in, ultrasound looked great measuring 6w3-4d despite my opk putting me at 7 weeks today. heartbeat sounded good, still praying hard that everything continues to be okay!

i’m 24 this is my first pregnancy. i just hit 7 weeks today and woke up to a good amount of brown discharge and cramping. my breasts also don’t seem as tender today. i’ve been on progesterone suppositories since 14 dpo. i plan on calling my doctor but im freaking out and devastated. can this be normal or does it confirm my bad feelings?

Hi, I am 4w6d today based on ovulation date ( i have pcos so cycles are a bit longer than 28 days ). I got my first beta drawn at 13 dpo and it was 39. Had a second one drawn at 15 dpo and it went up to 70, about a 79% increase. I went down the reddit rabbit hole about it must double, it only has to double every 48-72 hours, etc. I’ve been spiraling for a week. I’ve been testing like crazy at home and my test have gotten darker on both FRER and pregmate. I think I had a dye stealer yesterday on FRER so I would assume my levels are going up. The receptionist at my doctor’s office sent a message today that said the provider reviewed my labs and my HCG levels increased appropriately and they will see me in June. I’m in the limbo of do I call and ask for more labs since they were on the lower side, get some more privately, or just wait it out? I’m terrified of something bad happening and i’m quite nervous about my levels so I was just looking for some insight on what someone else would do or if their levels were similar and successful. I’m on progesterone 200mg. Not many symptoms besides bloating, sore breasts, fatigue, lots of hunger and thirst, and excess saliva. TIA!

Hi, i’m 24 F I have hashimotos and pcos. My husband and I decided to start trying for a baby recently and I ended up getting pregnant this cycle. We BD on 5/5 and I had a positive ovulation test 5/5 and 5/6 so i’m assuming i ovulated the 6th so i’d be 4 wk 2 days today. First vvfl was May 17. I got my first beta on May 19 and it was 39. I went back May 21 48 hours later for a second and now it’s only up to 70. I’ve been doing progesterone suppositories since May 20. I’m freaking out how it’s not doubling. Has anyone else had slow rising hcg and had a viable pregnancy?

Hi, I had a vvvfl on a pregnate test on Sunday and went Tuesday, May 19 for betas. I just got results: hcg is 39 and progesterone is 16.9. I’m worried sick over the hcg being so low. I have pcos so I have longer cycles but I had positive ovulation tests on 5/5-6 and BD on 5/5. Last period started April 17. If anyone could give advice I’d appreciate it. My breasts are tender but nothing crazy, i’m very irritable, so hungry, tired, and have been cramping some. I’m so scared.
