I’m a U.S citizen getting married to a Tica in August. I’m divorced and the processing times for an apostille in California (where I was divorced) very may well clash with my upcoming trip. I keep getting conflicting information. On one hand I see the official rules vía Google that I must have an apostilled divorce decree. But then I see the websites of some lawyers who just mention not needing it and just needing the information.

That being said, if there are any other foreigners in here who got married in CR and you were divorced before doing so, I’d love to hear your story. Did you end up bringing it or was there a workaround?

Hello everyone, I’m new to J-dramas and only have two under my belt so far. These are “Marry my Husband” and “My Undead Yokai Girlfriend”, the latter having left me wanting more. I was so crushed to find out that it was released two years ago and that I haven’t found any news about a second season despite thé show clearly being set up for one.

Has anyone here heard anything? Furthermore, at this point, since it’s been two years, is it even possible anymore? I’d love to see this show get a proper conclusion and I feel like they could do that with one more season. Technically, they could’ve done that this season if thé episodes had been an hour long and there were 12 or 16 of them. But that being said , I loved it and want to see more of Izzy and Hachi

La otra noche fui víctima de una estafa por parte de un conductor de Didi sin escrúpulos. Había empezado a caminar a casa después de cenar y decidí que no quería hacer todo el trayecto a pie, así que pedí un Didi.
Cuando subí al coche, el conductor me dijo que la aplicación necesitaba una confirmación del pasajero. Entonces presioné “Está bien” en la app sin prestarle mucha atención (estaba desesperado por llegar a casa), lo que terminó cancelando el viaje. Eso nunca me había pasado antes, así que él revisó el teléfono y notó que tenía una deuda pendiente en la sección de comida de la aplicación (desde 2022). Me dijo que la app estaba cancelando los viajes debido a esa deuda, algo que yo sabía que era una tontería.
Luego llegamos a mi casa y empezó a intentar venderme sus colonias piratas hasta el punto de que me fastidió y tuve que hacer que volviera a centrarse en el tema del viaje. Después le di 100 pesos para cubrir la tarifa y simplemente se quedó sentado afirmando que le había dado 50 pesos (yo sabía que había cambiado los billetes). En ese momento me dieron ganas de partirle la madre, pero no quería meterme en problemas por agresión, así que decidí asumir la pérdida y transferirle el resto.
Después afirmó que la aplicación estaba solicitando el monto de la deuda, algo que me mostró en una pantalla falsa. También intentó cobrarme la tarifa de cancelación.

Le dije que no iba a pagar todo eso. Por supuesto, su cuenta bancaria “no funcionaba” para recibir una transferencia, así que tuvimos que ir a un cajero automático. Siguió hablando de sus perfumes y yo simplemente lo ignoré hasta que regresamos a mi casa.
En resumen, si un conductor te dice que la aplicación necesita una firma o confirmación especial, confía en tu instinto y pide otro viaje. Espero volver a encontrarme con ese hijo de puta algún día; me aseguraré de que tenga un día de mierda.

Lord , I ask you to touch various writers’ hands and put it in their minds to not include overdone tropes such as amnesia, noble idiocy break-ups, white vans, going overseas with no contact. I’m tired and would love to see something fresh as I’m sure many fans would. Give them inspiration in Jesus’ name amen .
