I live on the east coast. No Wal-Marts easily accessible. I’ve been trying to purchase one of these for a couple of months.
Finally got one last night. Traveled to Morgantown, WV for a wedding and the night before we left I searched that location. They had ONE available for pick-up, so I purchased then picked up the next day after arriving in WV.
TLDR: If you’re traveling, check the stock where you’re going.
Just received a new SQ40. I want to love it, but I just don't. The main reason...they used a plastic that feels like the "soft touch" plastic that was so popular about a decade ago.
I LOATHE the feeling of that, and thus, every time I touch this thing, it makes me like it less and less.
Disappointed.
I have owned Black Boardwalks for a few years. I love them. They are solid, supportive, and perfect for rink and outdoor skating.
I recently ordered a pair in the Emerald colorway because that color is fire.
HOWEVER...Sure-Grip has ruined this line. What used to be a suede boot with a full suede lining making the boot very supportive and quite sturdy is now a suede boot with a foam fabric interior, zero support, and a hot sweaty mess on the foot.
These honestly feel like you would break your ankle if you're not extremely careful. There is zero lateral support.
I do not recommend these any longer.
Sure-Grip got cheap and is somehow charging more. Typical of every business in the US these days.
