Soooo... I lowk love short-prose writing and poetry, so these are some of my poems, lmk what y'all think of them... also, any suggestions for the titles are welcome!
Actuality is the unrealistic perception
of our dreadful reality.
The human race, a lost cause,
swayed by idealistic thoughts,
ruled by a monarchy of politicians
who twist how we perceive this
undeniably, unrealistically fake reality,
with no real actuality.
Humans see only themselves individually,
in a frame full of hapless people.
Trusting humans is a walk into a
death trap
relying on them for our own needs
is pitiful.
The saying "every man for himself"
didn't emerge out of sawdust or thin air.
Each word carried a call,
a call that was never meant to be heard.
This reality,
it shapes us in many forms
and I'm sorry to say,
in the most unfortunate ways.
If I disappeared tomorrow,
no one would care,
no one would stare,
just a silent sigh of pity
and a whispered plea,
here and there.
they won't mourn,
like an owner does for her pet,
rather I'd be forgotten,
a stone that fell deep in
an ocean,
too deep to float back to the surface,
too heavy to lift myself back up
haven't made my mark deep enough,
to leave a scar,
just left a trail of dust and clay,
in this putrid maze of dismay.
this was the first cdrama i watched 🤩🫶 i wish i could erase my memory to watch it for the first time again ahhhh, zhang lurang >>>

Hey guys 🤡✌️ I'm currently in Grade 10 doing IGCSE with Bio, Chem, Physics, Math, ICT, and English, and I'm really confused about which A-level subject combination to choose 😭
My school offers:
The issue is that I don't really like Physics, but if I want to replace it with Math in the science route, I'd have to take 4 subjects instead of 3. I'm also interested in things like financial freedom/business but at the same time I don't wanna close off future options too early... and I don't know if I should transition from the pure science route to the pure commerce, any advice?
For people already doing A-levels or who finished them:
