Stinky human = stinky mattress

Help! My 18 y/o is neurodivergent and we are fighting a hygiene battle. He refuses to bathe and change his clothes. He is an adult teenager. He took his sheets off his bed, including his mattress pad, to wash them and never put them back on. The mattress is now a stink bomb and laying on it transfers to odor to him (he actually showered and changed his clothing yesterday just to wake up smelling absolutely terrible again). How can I eliminate the odor from his mattress until I can get him a new one (to ruin). Its stinking up my house!

Yes, he is in therapy. He has multiple mental health diagnosis. Punishment does not work the way it would with a neurotypical individual. No, I will not be kicking him out.

Buying a car during chapter 13

My son totaled my car. I am in a chapter 13. I cannot go without a car, and the overage from my insurance claim is not enough to buy a car outright.

What is your experience in financing a car during an open chapter 13? I've spoken to a few different dealerships that deal with these situations and have received wildly different information. I'd love to hear from someone who has experienced it.

I live in Wisconsin and have already consulted my attorney, I could really just use the advice from someone who had been down this path

Neuropsych Testing

My mom is scheduled for 4 hrs of neuropsych testing this week. I know there is a portion where the family is involved (my minor son has had plenty of them), but I have questions about who should be there.

My dad died last year, so my sister and I take care of my mom (I am POA and handle her life). Should both of us be there for testing? I normally take my mom to appointments but she seems to act very differently with both of us.

Amazon pon adjacent

Has anyone tried this? What, aside from fertilizer, do you recommend adding? Just getting started in the semi hydro world and woah holy anxiety.

Froedtert hospital

Hi,

Has anyone had an experience with the Memory Disorders Clinic at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa (Milwaukee) WI?

Took my mom today after a PET scan confirmed a heavy plaque burden on top of her vascular dementia. I was... underwhelmed.

Not sure what I was expecting but I feel like the hour was rushed and we really didn't cover much ground.

Am I setting my expectations too high?

Infusions?

Hi all. My mom was finally officially diagnosed with Alzheimer's and vascular dementia. Her PET showed a centiloid score of 127.13. Her neurologist referred us to the memory disorders clinic to see if she qualifies for one of the infusions.

Have you or your loved one started one of the infusions? Have they reduced the plaque burden?

She's somewhere between and stage 3 and 4. Can handle ADLs but cannot handle cooking, bills, medication grocery shopping, or driving.

PON/Leca substrate questions

So I'm not sure if it's the best route, but I need a way to make my life easier when it comes to caring for my plants.

I have some in bark, some in a soil/bark mix, and then a bunch have recently come in pon. A recent one that came in bark completely dried out unusually fast.

What do you use for substrate? Pon sounds so appealing but I'm afraid of having too much water at the bottom of the pot.

Are self watering pots better? (Cup with string feeding into cup with water reservoir?)

I got a whole lot of other life going on and I just want to streamline SOMETHING.

Halp!
