Top surgery exercises (6 weeks+ post op)

Hey all! I had top surgery 6 weeks ago (mastectomy, nerve reinnervation, and liposuction), and I can’t reach up beyond where I can reach with my arms being at 90 degrees. I started massaging the scars a couple weeks ago now, and have tried light stretches, but I haven’t seen any improvement.

I feel like everyone I see on social media regains mobility quickly and are back in the gym, etc, but I still feel very sensitive on my chest, and can only do light exercise.

Please recommend your fav stretches that helped you recover!

Edema - top surgery

Hey! I’ve messaged my surgeons office, and have tried to look for answers online, but does anyone have advice on how to handle edema in arms and legs post top surgery?

I had my surgery a few days ago, and everything has seemed normal until my right arm started swelling earlier today. It’s now tender to the touch.

I’m hydrated. Not sure if there is a food or drink you’d recommend to help here.

Thanks so much!
