The Upside (2017)
I doubt this need to be questioned, but I'm utterly interested if any of you have seen this just in purposes to find out the main point of all this?!
The Upside was bombarded with an amazing cast, as if the director of the movie thought I'd pour some fame to an impeccable writing, copy it, and just replace the cast..
Of course, Bryan Cranston? Sure! Nicole Kidman? Kidding me? Some may dislike Kevin Hart, but his extroverted personna needed to fill-in to somehow follow Omar Sy's nuanced acting.
I just don't get the need to make an americanised version of an already existing masterpiece. I'd somehow still get, if The Intouchables (the original film) were like, say 40+ year old flick, in need for a fresher characteristic approach, o/w, but this unwinds only after six years after the original title release. This is just scam, at this point, and it doesn't matter which of Hollywood cast you'd bring, such act only worsens the film's inner energy, and annoys the viewer and cinema, at best.
I'd like to know what's your take on that? Am I the only one being so harsh towards this? This just feels way too unnecessary, and unplaced to say the least, I don't know..
The infamous brown BIC!
Found this bad boy in a crawl space at work!!
