question about non-permanent storage

hi! I’m looking for non-permanent storage ideas for my clover collection. I’ve been very lucky this year and my collection is getting rather big. So far, I’ve been having dedicated “clover books” where i put them between the pages. But the books are getting really thick and I’m worried about clovers falling out if I move them about.

Eventually I have a bunch of crafts I want to make with my clovers, so I don’t want anything involving tape/ glue/ etc where I can’t get them back out unharmed. I’d love to hear how yall store them now or if you have any ideas. Thanks!

looking for hydration tips!

I’m extremely grateful my experience with mono so far has been mild compared to others. I got diagnosed because of a persistent fever, but not a ton of other symptoms. My fever is still continuing, and comes on a little earlier in the evenings and is harder to shake in the morning, and I’ve developed a mild cough, headache, neck/ back pain, some inflammation and loss of appetite. some stomach discomfort/ pain always brought on by eating. Im on day 10 of fever/ symptoms, although I did feel kinda achey two days before my fever started.

I was thankfully able to get diagnosed through tests at a walk in clinic, so I’m really hoping to avoid any urgent care or emergency room visits. I just cannot afford that.

I was just diagnosed yesterday, so I’m really wanting to up my hydration and hopefully stay on top of it. My last pee really spooked me as it was pretty dark, but up until now I’ve been very pale yellow/ almost clear. It could also be that it’s earlier in the day and I need to catch up from not drinking as many fluids overnight.

This is roughly what I’ve been drinking every day for the last week: 2 large glasses of water with lemon and sea salt, a glass of electrolytes drink (Gatorade or liquid IV packet) and then going through my 32 oz water bottle 2+ times.

Does this seem like enough? Should I swap some plain water for more electrolyte drinks?

I’m just a bit scared, I had a close friend who had mono and could not stay hydrated, had to go to the ER twice for IVs. I really can’t afford big medical bills right now.

I’d really appreciate any advice or opinions! And best wishes for everyone’s recoveries ❤️‍🩹

questions about recovery times

just over three months ago, at the end of April, I was rear ended at a red light. ended up with a diagnosed concussion and some knee injury although nothing was broken/ torn in my knee. I’m not sure if the concussion was caused by my head snapping forward at initial impact, or being jerked back against the car seat headrest from my seatbelt.

I started physical therapy at the end of May. Focusing on my knee pain, neck and back pain, and monitoring my concussion symptoms/ working to expose myself to more and more stimulation as I felt ready.

Apologies, my main question is mostly about neck pain and not the concussion specifically, but I couldn’t find a subreddit I thought would be appropriate and I’m hoping someone here has similar experience.

For the first 1.5-2 months of physical therapy, we were doing a lot of deep tissue massage and electro therapy to deal with the tightness of my neck and back muscles. As my symptoms got better, we eased off and started focusing on other things. I had to switch therapists as the person I was working with left the office, and with my new physical therapist we stopped doing deep tissue massage altogether. It’s been maybe 3-4 weeks without. This past week I’ve had TERRIBLE neck and back pain. My neck feels so tight, moving it is painful and I think all the tension is giving me headaches.

I’ve never had a major injury before, never been in a car accident, and nobody close to me has either. I just have no frame of reference for this. Is this normal??? Obviously I am going to talk to my physical therapist at my next appointment, but that’s not for 3 more days and I’m in a lot of pain. I was doing a lot better the last few weeks and it seems like I’m back at square one. I never would have expected the healing process to be this extensive. I’m young and I’m scared about how long this is going to impact my life.

Could this be because we stopped doing the deep tissue work too soon? Could it be something else going on? Am I going to have to do deep tissue work for the rest of my life or else it’s going to come back?? sorry if this isn’t the right sub for this, I’m just hoping someone has experienced something similar and can offer some reassurance 😭

I’m not sure I like my boyfriend

we’ve only been talking / dating for 2 months. but he’s the first person I’ve been with in well over a year. I was just enjoying my peace and working on myself for a while.

I think I was too distracted by the excitement and the attachment to realize all the ways he’s not what I want in a partner. and most importantly he was super vocal and clear about liking me and wanting to be with me, I got a little blinded.

He is so incredible with my bpd symptoms. So understanding, patient, reassuring. And for the most part when we actually see each other it’s good. But when we are apart, I doubt and question. I’m not sure if it’s just like… the lack of emotional object permanence where I struggle to remember how I feel about him? Or if my brain is craving chaos and instability. Or maybe I just don’t like him as much as I thought.

but it’s scary to break up with someone who is so good to me and is so patient with my mental health issues. And even if it’s my choice, break ups suck. I hate change, and I hate the overwhelming wave of emptiness that follows the end of a relationship.

Idk, I know it’s not fair to him to keep this going when I doubt so much. If anyone has felt the same, I’d love shared experience or even just some support right now. But mainly I think I just needed to get my thoughts out
