Are there any indoor malls around here?

San Marcos is a decent halfway point between me and my friend and we wanted to go shopping. We’re lowkey sick of the Outlet mall though (plus it’s hot), and I can’t seem to find any indoor malls like Lakeline (Austin) or North Star (San Antonio). Do they exist here or is it just Tanger and the other one? 😭

Non-baggy jeans (or jeans for non-curvy people)?

Where can I find jeans that don't make me look like I'm wearing a diaper and/or my father's clothing? I've checked all the usual places (Hollister, Aero, AE, Levi's, Pacsun, etc), and if the jeans aren't out of my budget (my max is $50 for a pair, I'm a broke college student what can I say!), then they're all baggy with minimal non-baggy options!! I thought bootcut was making a comeback but maybe I'm just being too cheap.

I don't mind a baggy look, I actually prefer my jeans to not be too skinny, but baggy jeans often look uncomfortably huge on me, with tons of room in my crotch and behind (I get that may be the style of the jean, it's just not what I'm going for).

Where can I find some jeans on the less expensive side that aren't skinny jeans, but still have a tighter fit in the upper-thigh/leg?

Struggling with Hill Country Place

Hey all. Last week Monday, me and my dad toured Hill Country Place and applied the same day. First red flag was that online in the office, it said all 4 x 4 units were sold out. The nice girl who gave us the tour said they definitely still had room and gave us access to an application.

The second red flag happened when we got home that day and finished the application. The automated system texted us a few minutes later that the move-in date we selected was not available (07/15) and that we needed to complete an application for 08/16. That was too close to the beginning of classes for our liking so we contacted the girl from the apartments.

Im still confused on this part but she said we had to complete an application for August in addition to the previous application so that the fall term could be covered? And that once they're signed they'd be merged and my move-in day would be July 1st. Idk. I just signed it and moved on.

That happened last Thursday, and our application status is still on Screening. We tried to contact the office today but no word.

** As I was writing this post someone from the office called and said we completed our standard application and needed to sign an immediate move-in application. BUT we got an email that said the complete opposite. They said my new application would be sent but it's nowhere to be found. One minute it says the Screening process has been started, the next I'm approved, and after that it's back to screening! The whole process is just very confusing and complicated.

Did anyone else struggle this much securing a place at Hill Country??? It looks like the automated/AI system they have is new and superrrrrr buggy. July is coming up fast and I'm still in need of a place. It doesn't seem like a good sign that I'm struggling so much with this place. Do I just take this as a sign and begin looking elsewhere? The Oasis was my next pick, I'm worried its pretty much at capacity already though.

Housing status still set for on-campus

I don't know how this happened but I was put under on-campus housing for financial aid. I had no intention on living on campus so I submitted a request to change my status to off-campus. This was almost over a month ago and I had not checked my status as I assumed it would have been changed and I have not had the time to check it. It's finally time to go over that stuff but I am still under "Campus Housing".

The confirmation email I got said my status would be changed in 7-10 business days and it has been well over that (Apr. 4th).

How much does the status matter? I really don't know if we can wait another 7-10 business days for my status to be changed like it already should have been.

Who should I contact about this? Thanks.
