Insane work for Oku
I swear I enjoy this manga more than I should. Makes total sense now. Bro is really just like me 😭

To preface I’m ignorant to how this works so bear with this as Im most likely going to present misinformation out of ignorance, not malice lol
Now, addressing the title, his is a foreign concept to me as I have yet to knowingly experience such a thing but in light of the recent news about Sony deleting movies and now going to strictly digital I’m wondering how it is that this would render a game gone forever.
Iirc my Nintendo DS has downloaded content but the content is on the hardware itself. So I can still access that content no? Wouldn’t it be the same for other consoles?
This is what I don’t understand. How do these companies delete games that are downloaded to your system itself? I’ve heard of servers being shut down but never a game being out right deleted. Again, from my knowledge, I’ve never experienced this so I don’t really know how this works. Seems odd that movies would be deleted from libraries unless they were using a third party to distribute said product. In which case wouldn’t it be a similar case to like buying movies on Vudu or something?
If you can retain said downloaded product onto your hardware then what’s the big deal? Everything degrades eventually so what would be the issue with something still in digital possession? If a disk breaks then it’s technically inaccessible forever. How would this be any different to a console dying rendering everything with it inaccessible?
I’m not trying to defend corporations here as I know they’ve been incrementally giving us a worse product for more money (like the whole GTA 6 situation going on rn where they aren’t even selling a complete game for the base price). I’m just trying to understand why are we getting up in arms about everything.
If any of you freaks in here ever gets discouraged about rejection just remember. You’ve never fumbled this hard 😮💨
Was wondering how ranks differed with swordsman and mages. Like what makes someone advance, Saint , emperor etc. What’s the difference in rankings for swordsmen and mages? I ask because emperor tier feels kinda like it’s not so far from god/divine for swordsmen, but the discrepancy seems wider for mages. Also why defeating a king tier with help makes you a king tier even though you didn’t do it on your own.
Listening on audible and there was this intro to chapter seven. Am I hearing this correctly? Who tf is Bloody Cunt?
Looking for some good slides. Idk if anyone remembers but NoBull actually had some minimalist casual slides but stopped making them. They were my favorite, but the problem I’ve run into with them is the strap tends to rip before the outsole even wears out. The outsole was awesome with a perfect combination of comfort and durability. The only flaw with it is that the stupid strap is glued on instead of stitched to the sole 🤦🏻♂️ Was wondering if anyone can recommend some good durable soled adjustable slides that won’t rip unless intentionally done so with a knife lol would be appreciated if you could actually recommend some that actually have the strap essentially wrapping around and under the sandal similar to how “bologna” constructed shoes are made. Adding picture of the nobull slides I have for reference
Edit: please only recommend slides. I cannot stand the sensation of the flip flop strap going in between my toes. It’s painful and I also hate being barefoot lol
I was under the impression that you’re cloned every single time Gantz transports you. So, you’d essentially be dying everytime no? I saw something interesting that a commenter on another post similar to this saying that that’s not exactly true because the characters are seen maintaining consciousness and movement with other part of the body mid teleportation. So now I’m kinda confused lol Thematically it’d make more sense that they die everytime they’re transported, but yeah…
So I was thinking, is it ever confirmed that Laplace’s demon parent is a Superd? I don’t recall any confirmation in regard to his parentage in ODT. On that note, who’s his father speculated to be? I’m assuming it’s the dragon god himself lol.
Something I thought was strange is that Nanahoshi (17) is exactly half the age Rudy (34) was before he reincarnated. Is there any significance to this? I noticed this watching a NataliexHunter video stating that she’s perpetually 17, as I thought it was stated that she was 14 for some reason. I suffer heavily from the comprehension curse so if this was simply a mistake on her part in the video or my assumptions then don’t shoot the messenger lol
Forgot how brutal this episode was man geez. Anyways, what I wanted to know is how the anime differed from the light novel. I saw Paul did a slight smile right before he died. Is there any intricacies as to why he did this apart from the fact that everyone made it out alive?
So whenever Rudeus is trying to determine what to do with Norn and Aisha he agrees to let Norn stay in the dorms and Aisha seems to get offended by this because Norn is seemingly getting it “her own way.” What I don’t get is Rudeus essentially gave Aisha what she wanted as well so why is she even making that comment? She didn’t even want to go to school to begin with. Why is she so upset? Is there more context about this in the LN?
Finished some time ago, but finally made the additions I’ve been meaning to. Any Chrollo fans in here?
So I was rewatching this episode and saw that welfin said his step brother reminded him of Gyro. But it also seems to insinuate that Gyro was his younger step brother. Does anyone have confirmation as to whether or not welfin and gyro were related when they were human?
So I just finished rewatching and saw that Orsted did something to Rudeus causing him, from what I can infer from Orsteds words after, that he ruptured his lungs or at least damaged his windpipe. Anyways, what I’m confused about is how Orsted seemingly looked like he was done with Rudy and was gonna walk away until Rudy attacked him. My question is how did this confrontation play out in the LN because it would seem pretty foolish for Rudy to attack him in this instance when Orsted was already walking away. Not only that but seemed uncharacteristic of Orsted to not finish the job.
Just picked up volume 22 again after not reading (listening really, thanks audible) for like a year. Rudy mentions Orsted teaming up with the technique god and Perugius and Orsted refuses seemingly because of resentment. I forget the details of what has transpired prior in the story and in ODT. Has it been answered as to why he holds such animosity towards those 2? Also as a bonus can yall remind me why Perugius hates Laplace, even in his fused form.
Do yall know of any? For reasons I don’t feel like getting into I want a bag of carnivore Snax in my hands asap but I don’t feel like waiting. Is there anywhere that does their jerky with the same kind of consistency and taste? Almost like meat chips? Whole slabs of meat chips lol
Yeah pretty much the title. What would be the advantage to having refresh rates at speeds your GPU cannot keep up with? Was considering buying a 4k monitor at 165hz but was debating it because my 5070ti pretty much maxes out at around 80fps on BF6 at 4k. Will there even be an advantage to getting a monitor whose refresh rate outperforms my fps?
Forgive the ignorance of this statement, but I was reading the visual novel for Fate Stay/Night, and saw there was a character that lived in a temple. His name was Issei Ryudou if that matters lol. In the story it said that after high school he would inherit his family’s temple and I find this a rather strange thing for multiple reasons. First being how a temple could be considered a family business. Aren’t these places of worship and religion? How does one even make money from a temple? Second, how does a temple stay within the family lineage? Are priests/ monks allowed to procreate in accordance to their beliefs? However, the part I’m most confused about is how people just inherit a temple like it’s a family business. If anyone can clarify what this is about and how you guys see temples in your cultural context as from my understanding the Japanese are a mostly secular people
