Multiple weird issues with Steam on my PC that come and go.

since about a week ago I've been encountering multiple issues with my steam installation:

- games may take an upwards of 2 minutes to run, and until then, they are stuck in a "Launching..." state.

- games sometimes fail to sync their data with steam cloud and end up with an out of date cloud state.

- games either don't show achievements at all (one of the widgets on the right if you go to game's library page) or show them as if they all have a 0% global completion rate.

- had this error in Dota 2 yesterday: "check your internet connection. unable to download network confuguration from cdn". couldn't connect to a match. resolved by deleting everything from the Steam folder on my PC and letting it download fresh files.

the only thing I can think of as causing all this is that I started using a VPN, but it is definitely not on when I'm playing games, it is not constantly on and I only use it when I need to. help me solve this please

Map/Street view doesn't fully load as of recent

been having technical issues in my dailies recently, sometimes location takes a very long time to load, and most notably the map doesn't show named regions/city names when you zoom in, gets blurred, sometimes parts of the map black out completely. I enjoy the added challenge but I would like to play as it was. is anyone having the same issue?

my internet speed is fine, I cleared the cache and cookies but I won't know if it worked until the next daily so there's that

Came back to playing Dotes after a 7-year break and completed an all-hero challenge!

turbo only. average attempts: 2.05. first pic is attempts for each hero, second is my conclusion.

played like half of the games in duo, half of the games solo. really liked playing almost all of the heroes. had almost no issues with match quality or teammates, although now I'm itching to go calibrate to know my rank and what I'm really capable of in this game. AMA I guess :D

Lost a month of my progress after launching the game from different device.

I have two PCs, both with Steam installed, and game saving its data into Steam cloud. I wanted to play the game on my second PC today, and I last played on it a month ago, so it updated, I launched it, and found out that it didn't sync any of the progress from the cloud. I thought ok whatever, idc about the progress, I'll play rn and then switch back to my main PC later.

Well, now is a later, I switched to main PC and as it turns out the data here has been rolled back to a month ago too, to the time I was last playing the game on my second PC...

Is there any solution to this?

A new reddit user I started chatting with got shadowbanned (presumably). Is there anything I can do to guide them to alleviating the ban?

Yesterday a new reddit user created a post in our small local (by language) subreddit, it caught my eye, we chatted a bit in the comments and then in the DMs but we did not have time to exchange contacts and did not proceed to chat elsewhere. Today while visiting the chat I saw the "this account has been banned" banner. reddit shadowban tester (3rd party app) confirms that the account has been shadowbanned, and all of their comments are now highlighted as "removed by moderator". The account did not have any red flags of being a bot, a scammer or otherwise a person with ill intentions prior to the ban (at least to me).

Is there any way I can notify the person of the ban they have received and what they can do to appeal it via reddit?

after I showed my 10 stars FC here someone rightfully noticed I need to work a lot on not mashing sequences like these and instead try to actually follow the rhythm and perfect hit it. I practiced a little and I felt like I need a one-for-all approach to these notes. so it got me wondering, what button does anyone else start with to do double or triple notes with pauses like shown here.
