Penny’s Clothes

ETA: watch any episode with the short hair and tell me those shirts are flattering.

What do you think about them? I think they could have done a way better job dressing her esp during the short hair era. Kayley Cuoco is gorgeous so everything she wears looks good but it seemed as the show got more popular, her clothes actually got worse.

Her character is comparable to Rachel Green from “Friends” in terms of popularity and looks, but Rachel’s outfits got better as the show went on.

I think they finally started dressing her correctly at the end when she gets the sales job, but really? It took that long?

Im not saying she always dressed bad, Anytime she put a dress on she was 🔥 but that’s just gonna happen, Penny will automatically be hot if she puts on a dress. That doesn’t count. What are your thoughts??

(PS Don’t get me started on Rajs layers)

Eta; I’m not saying she should have dressed like a 20 year old or she should have dressed slutty. There’s a way for her to dress flattering and still keep in line with her character and age

Snuggies story

I’m gonna be very vulnerable and tell yall the story of Snuggie. He’s more than just a cute face. Trigger warning: parental death and pregnancy loss

In 2021, after a miscarriage and 5 years of trying, I finally got pregnant. I was 40 and I knew it was my last shot at being a biological mother. I announced the pregnancy to my parents and they both died within a month of each other. I think they were both waiting for me to get pregnant and once they found out I was, they felt like they could pass. I was too happy about being pregnant to really be sad.

About a month later, I started cramping and I lost the pregnancy. All 3 deaths hit me at once. I was beyond devastated and grieving. My husband thought about buying me an expensive purse, he just wanted to “fix” the problem.

My sister told him about a saying I have: “it’s hard to be sad with a Pomeranian puppy in the house”

So I came home to the cutest little teddy bear face I’ve ever seen. And while I still grieve, it really was hard to be sad with such a cute little guy to love and care for and snuggle with (hence the name)

I have had 6 Poms and they all have helped me in different ways but Snuggie, he’s extra special.

Xennial women did you wear silver hoops or was that just a regional thing.

I remember losing a silver hoop and it being the end of the world. The bigger yet skinnier the hoop, the better.

Does anyone else Pom act like a model to get you to pick them up?

Came around the corner and Snuggie was laid out like damn super model. I just HAD to pick him up. It occurred to me, he does this all the time and it isn’t normal Pom behavior because Mochi barks and begs and puts paws on your chest to get picked up

Some kid was wearing this at my daughters graduation

Edit: What if this means “what a millennial can use as an antitheft device” and not the other way around where it keeps a millennial from stealing a car?

Need a good portable ac unit

Hi! I work at a dealership in Texas. I’m outside in the heat a lot and my desk feels like a hot box when I come inside. Some people are below an air vent. I’m not.

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a portable ac? I’ve seen them for $39-$300. I’m willing to pay for the $300 one unless that will be overkill.

Any advice is welcome
