Are there any unforeseen issues with using rivenuts on the aluminum door frame of an rv for the handle strike plate?

I stripped the screw holes out and I’m trying to come up with ways to make this repair. So far, it’s been epoxy a small piece of aluminum behind to hole and go with a slightly longer screw or go with an M4-5 rivenut.

Is it common for the radio on Android units to sound much better than CarPlay audio?

I just installed a unit all the music from CarPlay sounds kinda flat while the radio sounds crisp and lively. Is this common and what steps can I take to get my music from CarPlay at or near what it sounds like on the radio?

I do plan on trying a wired connection but not sure if there's any point if wireless CarPlay will be my absolute main use.

Found this last night and wanted to see if I still had “it”. 3 hours later……

Even at 52 years old, muscle memory took over after the 3rd match. I love you, fake Taki!

Looking for an explanation on how built-in navigation works on a typical Android head unit.

I'm installing this unit and I'm curious how the built-in navigation works on these units. It has the gps antenna that I'll install. Does it require me using my phones hotspot or do I need to download offline maps from wifi and do regular updates? I can surely use Carplay but I'm curious about getting full use of the unit. I want to be able to compare Carplay nav vs built-in nav.

Gas door is randomly opening by itself. 2019 Trailhawk.

My daughter has had her used Renegade for about a year and I've found the gas door randomly open about 2-3 times since. She'll be going to college this fall so I'd like to address this while she's still home. There's no interior release button for this model as you just push on the door. Has anybody had this issue and found a solution?

The last factory C. Bomb blew on the spare rack.

Our experience with Castle Rock tires has been eventful but the last one bit the dust just sitting on the damn spare tire rack. Aired it up for a beach trip just in case. After we got setup and settled in, we heard a sudden pop & hiss around 10:30 last night. I have used it twice for a total of about 4-5 hours of drive time.

Edit: So my Castle Rock story is way too long but the short is 2 blowouts within 2 months of ownership in 2020. Replaced all four with GY Endurance. One of these blowouts I thought damaged the rim but ended up being fine after I already bought a replacement. Kept 2 Castle Rocks as spares. Blew a valve stem on one of these Endurance and put on Castle Rock spare 1. Blew out that spare and put on Castle Rock spare 2 to get home. Replaced Castle Rock spare 1 with Endurance (I keep that in covered truck bed). Fixed the valve stem on the Endurance and still solid. Guess it’s not a very short story.

Solo queuing this season’s Drives is BRUTAL! Is this Overwatch: Among Us?

Every match, I can count on at least one person either throwing or just has no awareness/sense for the game. It’s never felt this bad and I can’t be the only one. 16 wins and 34 losses!

Co-ops for homeschooled graduation ceremonies.

I’m trying to get some information and come up with options for our son. We’re a couple of years away but things like this can sneak up. I know NCHE hosts ceremonies in Winston-Salem but we need to stay in the Concord/Charlotte area. I did reach out to Concord Academy but I haven’t heard back yet. Any tips strictly for the Concord area would be appreciated.

Can someone help identify and advise on terminal identification for a custom 20v battery converter?

This a 20v 1.5 AH Bauer battery pack from Harbor Freight. I’m pretty sure the outside terminals are + and -. The charger doesn’t use the ones marked C2 & C4 and the tools use all except the middle terminal. Can anyone identify (or give a decent guess) on the three middle terminals, their function, and if I need to address them in any way to make my adapter work?
