Any online schools where I can graduate in less than a year?

Please don't say Penn Foster because I want to take AP/Honors classes and I don't think they have those. This update has made me extremely angry because I was planning to apply for colleges soon and graduate before June 2027. I only have 8.5 credits right now and I started high school through Acellus back in January. I'll pay however much I need to and work as much as possible, just as long as it's a simple private (I don't want to do STAAR testing) online school that'll get me a diploma before next summer. The acceleration was the main reason I did Acellus. Being able to go at my own pace and know I’m getting lots of work done every week is what motivated me. Now, I feel anger everytime I open the Acellus app because the limit is so short that I don’t see any progress. I'm neurodivergent, chronically ill, and unexpected change is one of my least favorite things, so this happening out of nowhere when I'm about to graduate is awful! If I graduated late, it would severely affect me mentally and I don't want that to happen. If Acellus doesn't fix this, I will drop out of school and probably end up really badly off because I feel like I have no options left. I don't care what anyone says, I highly doubt this is an accreditation issue; I think it's a money grab so we’ll be paying for Acellus longer.

I Reached The Limit At Only 25 Steps?!

Every week, I’ve been doing 40 steps for almost every class, but I reached the limit for my accounting class at only 25 steps this week. This is my favorite class and I want to be able to complete 40 steps because I’m trying to graduate early.

How common is it to graduate with more than 26 credits?

I’m the class of 2027 and I’m trying to recreate my graduation plan because I can’t take APs over the summer, but there are some classes I really want to take. Did anyone else graduate with more than 26 credits and is it worth it? Is it also possible to continue using Acellus after graduation to advance my academics right before I go to university?

When Can I Enroll In AP Classes?

I was planning to enroll in AP World History in July, but I only recently found out that I can’t enroll in AP classes in the summer. When does this reset? This rule honestly makes me upset because I’m trying to accelerate my graduation and I plan to take 7 APs.

Any Advice For A 16 Year Old Interested In Accounting?

I’m a 16 year old going into 11th/12th grade at a self-paced online school. I’ve always enjoyed working with numbers, and my interest in accounting started when I was 12 because I wanted to better understand and manage my own finances. So far, I’ve taken 3 accounting classes at my high school, and I plan to take Principles of Business, Marketing, and Finance, as well as AP Statistics if my schedule allows it.

Outside of academics, I’m a singer-songwriter who plays 5 instruments. Although music is my biggest passion, I don’t want to rely on it as a primary source of income, which is why I’m planning to major in both accounting and music business. Accounting offers the stability I’m looking for, while music is something I plan to continue alongside it.

My goal is to complete a 5-year BS/MS accounting program so I can meet the 150-credit requirement I need to become a CPA in Texas. Long-term, I’d love to become an entertainment accountant who works primarily in the music industry. I’m also interested in forensic accounting and fraud examination, so I plan to join the ACFE in college and eventually become a CFE after becoming a CPA.

Since I’ve struggled with quite a few health problems over the past few years, I’m planning to stay close to home for university. My top choice is the University of North Texas because of their strong commercial music program, with UTArlington being my backup.

I’d really appreciate any advice, things you wish you knew before you got into accounting, skills I should focus on, or anything I can do now to better prepare for college and becoming an accountant. Thank you!

Applying To College With An Accelerated Path?!

I’m 16 years old and I attend a self-paced online school. I completed 9th grade in 3 months, and I’m currently taking 10th/11th grade classes. I’ll officially be an 11th grader in August, but I plan to complete both 11th and 12th grade in the 2026-2027 school year and graduate in June 2027.

How would the admissions process work for me? Can I apply with only 9th/10th grade credits? Will colleges consider my graduation plan? Since my academic progress is moving rapidly, my transcript will look very different in spring compared to when I submit applications in fall. Although I’m only starting my first AP course this July, I’m hoping I can take 7 in total.

One reason I want to graduate and start college early is because I had a very negative experience with the class of 2028 due to severe bullying, while I usually got along with the class of 2027. I’m hoping to get my bachelor’s in 2031, and my master’s in 2032.

How Do I Upload My Own Slide Deck?

I’ve been working on an app since April 2026. I started out in Replit, and although I’ve had some technical difficulties, I don’t want to restart so I’ve continued to use Replit. Does anyone know how to upload my own slide deck? It asked me what type I want, but I already designed my own.

It also says that I need an active Apple Developer account to publish my app to the App Store, which was my initial goal. How do I do that?

What grade drops you below a 4.0 GPA?!

I’m a perfectionist, I have a 98% in Honors Chemistry, and I’m terrified of losing my 4.0 GPA. I’m only about 30% done with Chemistry and Geometry, but both classes are difficult for me, and I know I’ll have to work my ass off on the final exams when the time comes. Does anyone know what grades I would need to maintain my 4.0 GPA?! A few months ago, a glitch temporarily dropped my GPA down to a 3.9, and I made myself physically sick over it. Logically, I know 1 bad grade won’t destroy my future, but my anxiety keeps telling me that if I don’t keep my 4.0, I won’t get into any colleges, especially since that same anxiety prevents me from taking in-person tests.

Basic or Enhanced Plan for Accelerated Graduation?

I’m trying to decide if I should stay on the Basic Plan or switch to the Enhanced Plan. I finished 9th grade in exactly 3 months with a 4.0 GPA, but I had some accessibility issues that slowed me down. Currently, I have 8 credits, and my goal is to have 14 credits by September 2026. I’m hoping to graduate around March-May 2027, or atleast have everything figured out by June 2027. I’m doing the Honors pathway, so I need 26 credits to graduate. The Basic Plan is $80/month and allows 6 active courses, while the Enhanced Plan is $175/month and allows 8 active courses. According to my calculations, because the year resets on August 31, a year of the Basic Plan would cost around $1,560 with the extra credit fees, which is still cheaper than the $2,100 the Enhanced Plan would cost.

One of the reasons I’m considering the Enhanced Plan is because I want to move through courses as quickly as possible. For example, I want to take Algebra II and/or Pre-Calculus at the same time as AP Statistics (all math credits). I’d also like to take AP World History and AP Psychology simultaneously (both social studies credits). I’m not sure if Acellus allows these combinations on the Basic Plan. My family is concerned about the price of the Enhanced Plan, so I don’t want to switch unless it would actually make a meaningful difference. Is the Enhanced Plan worth it? I’d appreciate any advice!

My school app isn’t accessible for my disabilities and I need help downgrading.

I’m a high school student with visual impairments and last month, an update to my online school’s app made the font size so small that I physically can’t read my assignments anymore. I’ve contacted both the school and the Office for Civil Rights (OCR), but neither has been helpful so far. The OCR hasn’t responded to me or my mom at all, and my school is blaming my iPad, even though their app is one of the only apps that doesn’t work with Apple’s accessibility features. I use an iPad Air 11-inch (M3) for school and I’m not sure if that can be jailbreaked, but does anyone know how to download older versions of an app? I’d prefer a solution that doesn’t require a computer, but I’m willing to use my brother’s if it’s necessary because graduating this year is my top priority. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Shirt Design Ideas For MUNA Concert?

Hey everyone! I’m going to see MUNA in Dallas on September 20 and I’m extremely excited!!! I’ve been wanting to see MUNA since I first discovered them a few days before I turned 12. The concert is a week after I turn 17, which feels like the perfect birthday gift!

I do digital art, and I’ve been planning a passion project where I design and create shirts with my own song lyrics. I’m hoping to major in music business in university, so it felt like a fun way to combine my interests. Since I’m already designing shirts with my song lyrics, why don’t I design a shirt with a MUNA lyric to wear to the concert?!

Since it’s going to get so hot (pun intended), I want to keep the design quite minimal so I don’t overheat. I’ll probably be wearing a black crop top with black shorts or a skirt, so I’m thinking of using a lyric from the new album and pairing it with a small graphic.

Does anyone have any ideas for lyrics or imagery from the Dancing On The Wall album that you think would work well on a shirt? I’d love to hear what other fans would choose. Thank you!
