What anxiety meds are you on or have been on? What has worked?

Hello I’m new here and I suffer from pretty severe anxiety. My mind is constantly worrying or looking for something to worry about 😅. I was on Zoloft but it honestly killed my libido and that is a deal breaker for me.

What has worked or not worked for you guys? Please feel free to include lifestyle changes that have helped you. Btw I have a 4 year old so try to keep that in mind for me please 😂

I don’t want people to think I don’t like being a parent.

But everytime someone asks about parenting I can’t help but tell them it’s hard and that my child is a very hyper and stubborn little boy (4). It’s the truth, but I still love being a mom, I love my baby and I’d give my life for him. I’m also grateful for him because he’s made me want to be a better person in all aspects. Character wise to lead him by example, health wise to be here for him for as long as possible, and more career focused to be able to provide a comfortable life for him. Does anyone else experience this… guilt???

I raised my voice at my 4 year old at a party.

I raised my voice at my 4 year old at a party because he was forcefully pulling my friends son by the arm and he was about 40ft away from me. I then got up and and went up to him and told him (in a normal voice) not to be pulling his friend like that. I had to be reminding him constantly about it.
No one really reacted to it but for some reason I feel so embarrassed about it.

What should I expect and what was your experience like?

4 years ago I had a papsmear done and my results were abnormal (asc-us) a week ago I went back and got that same result plus hpv+. I will be going next week for a colposcopy and a biopsy. How concerned should I be??? Will it be really painful? Could some of you share your experiences and how long it took to clear out? Or if it worsened? Thank you. 🩷

I got a pap and blood work done on Monday and I hate having to wait for results 😭 the reason I’m worried is because the last time I had one was when I was pregnant and it came back asc-us. This was 4 years ago and the reason I hadn’t gotten another one was because I had no insurance, till now. Anyone else had a similar experience with positive news in the end???

My baby (he’s 4) is supposed to go on a family vacation with my in laws to visit their son, wife and kids.

I trust my in laws fully the only thing that’s making me anxious about the trip is their little boy. He’s a good kid but I know he is allowed to play video games online and to have sleep overs. I’m not sure how often this happens and I’m not sure how cautious or involved they are with his electronic devices, and that worries me because of the risks of exposure it comes with. I don’t want to bring it up to my BIL/SIL because I feel like they would feel offended, and I would like to ask my mother in law to not let my son sleep in their sons room alone or play with closed doors, but also idk… it’s an icky subject but I feel like I would have to address it before the trip or not let him go at all. I’m so torn about the decision.

I personally went through an expierence myself as a child where a teenage girl made me “play” with her if you know what I mean, so I’m super afraid of my son going through something like that.

What do you guys think?
