I love the guitar but I find the bridge pickup pretty much unusable on its own without heavy eq. It is way too shrill, way too bright.
Any suggestions welcome :)
Long story short - for which one would you go if budget wise the MIA would be possible but a bit painful? Is the JMJM a worthy base for future upgrades? Is jazzmaster a good choice for open G tuning guitar?
I am a bedroom player though I am starting to record things through the Fender Tone Master Pro I've bought recently (great piece of gear btw). I own Gibson Les Paul Std 50s, Vintage v100 Les Paul (with upgraded pickups to Seymour Duncan Slash 2.0) and a PRS Silver Sky SE.
