Keep having issues saying blockage between CFS hub and extruder filament detector.

I keep getting several errors about blockages. It started with the error in the title. I tried several things. I am printing with hyper petg.

Different spools

Different slots of cfs hub

Cutting new end of filament

Unhooked and inspected all tubing

Unhooked and checked buffer

Replaced extruder

Check gears of new extruder and blow it out

Replaced nozzle

Replaced nozzle again after it clogged

Replaced hotend

Unplugging entire printer for a minute(several times)

I am genuinely at a loss of what to do now.

Between these attempted fixes, the first error would go away but then I'd get others, such as a the clogged nozzle, and extruder may be clogged.

I'm able to get the filament to feed through the entire system and I can see the gears turn on the extruder, but then it will say there is a blockage and not start printing. It literally has brand new everything.

After that, it now won't take any filament and all of the cfs slots feel blocked, including the one that was just feeding filament.

Update: I think I fixed it. Somehow, the cutter became dislodged and disappeared randomly. I installed a new one but accidentally upside down. The cutter not being there was likely the cause for some of the early errors and the incorrect installation was the cause of the subsequent ones. Very silly and I feel super dumb.

Is it bad to have a gray/green tent for backpacking/boundary waters?

I have been before with people who had a mixture of orange and gray tents. When trying to find our campsite from the water, gray was impossible to see whereas the bright orange stood out.

I was going to buy the bright orange copper spur tent but now it's out of stock where I am getting it from. I can still get the dark green/gray...but I know I am directionally challenged and need a tent that sticks out lol.

Is this a terrible idea or have you guys made do with a tents that blend in?

Cooking while backpacking.

What are some 'good' meals that you guys make while backpacking that don't require a ton of weight and aren't just the MREs? What cookware do you use for it?

I have done a lot of packaged meat and tortillas but want something a little better for dinners.

Is the copper spur UL2 for 1 person a good tent for the boundary waters?

I am looking for a tent that I can comfortably sit up in, because I have had to wait out a lot of rain/thunderstorms in the boundary waters and that sucks in a short 1p tent. Is this a good choice? Is it durable enough? I also want something fairly lightweight and preferably freestanding. I will be taking it on other backpacking trips probably all over the US.

I heard the msr hubba hubba is more durable but I can get a significant discount on the copper spur...so I am leaning towards that for sure.

Why do the walking trails (MKT and Hinkson Creek) smell like sewage?

I have seen the structures along the trails with the pipes/manhole covers. Does the city's sewage system run there? If so, why does it always smell so strongly of sewage? Is something wrong or is this normal?

I can get my phone to connect go wifi, but not my laptop or TV

I have a 10 year old roku tv that I have moved with MANY times and has worked with all wifi/hotspot connections. Same with my windows laptop(~5 years old).

I moved to an apartment that already has bulk internet set up via centurylink(fuck this company btw).

I tried logging into the admin and making the 5g and 2.4 g connections seperate. Didn't help. I've probably called the company about 15 times and have spent hours of my life trying to figure this out because I am paying for it monthly.

Is there something else I can do to get my laptop/TV to connect to the wifi? I was told to set up separate ssid for each but the directions on the century link website are old and not the same interface for the current admin login.

How to get fish smell + human sweat smell out of clothes

I work in fisheries and wear hiking quick dry clothes and wool socks. The smell on my clothes after sweating all day and working with fish is AWFUL. I already wash my clothes on hot.

I prefer unscented detergent. Are there any specific items you recommend? If I need to pre-soak, I can.

Can I waterproof spray AND treat with permitherin to the same gear?

I moved to an area that has a LOT of ticks, including lone star ticks that can give alpha gal, so I have started treating my clothes with permethrin. I use the ben's water-based spray.

I'd like to treat my tent and hiking boots as well...but I'd also like to waterproof spray them. Is that a bad idea? I read that some chemicals in the permethrin can break down certain chemicals in waterproof materials.

Does running and building endurance that way translate well to backpacking/hiking?

My question is basically the title. I want to start backpacking. I already hike but it's usually ~5 miles when I do. I just started running because I am sick of feeling weak and tired all the time. Will this translate well into backpacking long distances over multiple days or is that a totally different type of workout?
