I booted into recovery image, via usb drive, i use the wipe device and reinstall steamos option. But it doesn't work, always errors out at this specific place and crashes, please help guys

So hadn't used my quest 3 for months cause i was busy. brought it out and booted it, the blue spinning meta logo came on for a while, with "Meta HorizonOS" and after that it just kept going to a blank (black) screen but backlight on, no sounds.

no it's not the proximity sensor being blocked by something. i tried vol - + power and then "Boot device" nada. then i rebooted a bunch of times, didn't work.

interesting thing to note, when fully powered off, the charging indicator does infact work, and the meta logo shows up and then the usual battery indicator with 4 green dots. but when i power on, the charging indicator goes off.

i ran the "Update Meta Quest Software" tool, it kept saying couldn't connect and told me to run "adb kill-server" worked after that, it downloaded, installed, whilst installing there was this giant white circle with white progress bar saying "updating software" or something similar.

then it restarted the quest, a white meta logo with green progress bar appeared. after the progress bar filled the whole thing just blinks, for around 10mins now. not changing
