Settled on 47mm vs 51mm Fenix 8

I ordered a 51mm Fenix 8 but didn't get on with it. Although I don't think it looked too bad (second photo) it felt really clunky compared to my 46mm Galaxy Watch 4 Classic which I'm replacing.

Having dug through this sub a bit it seemed more people got on with the 47mm. With the nylon band the 47mm feels way nicer and I much prefer the fit.

I wish I had read more on this sub prior. There are no stores near me which have real watches you can try and only dummy models you can vaguely hold up to your wrist.

That famous Knaresborough Viaduct view in some different conditions

I've seen a lot of Knaresborough on this sub recently and most of the time you see the famous viaduct view in the sun. So I thought I'd share a few photos I've taken over the years in some different conditions.

  1. Northern lights
  2. A very snowy day
  3. Storm
  4. More northern lights
  5. Blue hour
  6. Autumn
  7. The usual sun shot
  8. Noctilucent clouds

I'm very lucky to live so close and I never get bored of photographing it.

My Red Kite spotting PB in Harrogate today - nearly 50!

Hard to count, but there must be nearly 50 red kites in the first photo if you zoom in.

In the second photo, they were just flying low.

I wish I were out with my proper camera this evening. I often see big groups, but this was something else.
