How do you play Ride 5?

I bought this game a week ago and am loving it! ✨

I've never tried a game like this before so I'm finding it quite difficult. I was struggling to steer smoothly with my controller so I figured out how to use my wheel and pedals.

It took a lot of fiddling with input linearity, anti-deadzone thresholds, and wheel settings, but it feels really intuitive now. I've even got some basic FFB as you can see in the video, which is extrapolated from the game's controller rumble telemetry.

X8 Pro Max owners, do this!

Just got my X8 Pro Max a few days ago and I've been tweaking everything I possibly can. One of the BEST things I've done is adjust the speaker EQ.

I have previously done this on my old X6 Pro and it definitely improved its speakers, but the X8 Pro Max can sound almost as good as an F8 Ultra with a quick EQ tweak.

Go to Settings > Sound > Sound Effects - Select Dolby Atmos, then enter the Graphic Equalizer, and copy the screenshot in this post :)

The difference is astonishing. It genuinely almost sounds like a mini Bluetooth speaker, the bass is unreal from two small phone speakers.

Dolby did a terrible job with the X6 Pro speakers, enabling Dolby Atmos made that phone sound much worse, but on the X8 Pro Max they've absolutely nailed it.

Edit - To prevent this from affecting Bluetooth devices, all you need to do is connect a Bluetooth device, go back to the Sound Effects page, and change from Dolby Atmos to Original. Once you do this, it'll automatically disable Atmos when you connect any Bluetooth device.
