I've spent the past few weeks searching subreddits like this one in hopes of finding someone in the UK a bit like myself, but I'm not having much luck. I'm fairly quiet and reserved, and i don't like crowds, so i feel like this is my only way to find similar people.

I've known my body is wrong for a long time, probably 4-5 years, but due to financial constraints and fear of judgement I'm yet to do much except replace all my clothes, grow my hair, and shave all over constantly. I keep looking back on the past few years and regret not putting in more effort to figure out what must be done and get started with hormones, laser, etc.

I'm reaching a point now where I'm struggling to cope, and being alone in all this is just making it worse. In an ideal world I'd absolutely love to have someone to share the struggles with and lend shoulders to one another, but I'm losing hope.

In regards to gaming, I love playing coop games, especially open world games with good content, and i enjoy friendslop games too. I play exclusively on PC. I'm not overly fussed about creating a friendship purely over games though, i want a genuine connection with someone i can relate to and just enjoy talking to.

I'm very introverted and prefer to stay inside. The only exception is when driving my car, but i still like to be alone in the car. If i get to know someone well and we have a few common interests or just get along really well I can get attached quite easily because I'm so used to being ignored and forgotten.

I consider myself to be fairly basic and ordinary in the sense that i don't have any traits or interests often seen in trans communities, I'm just an ordinary girl stuck in the wrong body and i want out. I've already got my hair to a point I'm happy with but I despise my face. I've been shaving my entire body for years to make my skin feel a bit more like it belongs to me, but I'm getting really sick and tired of it now and am ready to get it all lasered off.

I don't involve myself in drinking, smoking, clubbing, weed, rallies, or anything of the sort, so if you do any of those it probably wouldn't work out. However, if you're like me and also have absolutely zero interest in any of those things then we might get along well.

is there anything I can do to get my life back? i've lost everything. i can't function and nobody can tell. i don't speak to my friends anymore, i haven't been able to sing for 5 years and i absolutely love singing, i've had to stop language learning, i can't blow my nose, i can't work more than 2-3 hours a day without my tubes opening from small talk. Hi all, looking for some advice.

This isn't exactly the right place to ask this, but I can't find any relevant answers elsewhere, so I thought I'd try anyway since I feel you guys will know more about hardwood sealers than people in DIY subreddits.

I'm making a garage workbench out of B/BB birch plywood, and I want to seal it with Bona Traffic GO, but I'm trying to find out if primer is necessary or not. The Bona website and many people on reddit talk about side bonding or uneven finish without primer, but that isn't a concern here since it's a simple plywood workbench.

Would I be alright skipping primer and just applying 3 coats of Traffic GO to the bench top?

Hi all, I've got my first tax return coming up this year, since my etsy sales count as a side hustle (even though I barely make anything from it).

Can anyone tell me what figures I need to provide? I'm not really sure where to start, and I cannot afford an accountant.

I made over £1k last year, so I think I need to register as self employed but I'm not sure, all I've done so far is add my NIS.
