Leading theory is that they were caught in fishing nets, then discarded. Really tragic.
I can quit any time I want. But really, are they back up? It's been 6 minutes already.
Looking to do some experimenting with mixing and matching AMS units and BMCU, but I don't necessarily trust myself fabricating my own cables. Does anyone know of a ready-made solution?
Is anyone able to share the exact lengths they are using for a BMCU on a P1S?
Printer detects as an AMS. My filaments are loading fine, they're running through the 4-1 adapter, but not making it all the way through to the extruder. Is there a maximum feed length or a setting I'm missing? I checked the offline wiki, but haven't found anything helpful.
Edit to add info: using 50cm ptfe from BMCU to the 4 TO 1 adapter, then the internal 50ish cm. Length from extruder to the end of 4to1 is less than 70cm. Retraction is set to 90. Filament feeds about 30cm into the internal ptfe, and never hits the extruder. Error: Failed to feed the filament into the tool head. Possible cause filament or spool stuck. (Neither is the case.)
Any assistance is appreciated.
I mean, I didn't think it would, but I figured I'd give it a shot before I did the A2L firmware update.
Looking for a quick sanity check here. I ordered the Tree Tribe BMCU 370C DM Pro and received it a few weeks ago. I purchased the assembled kit, and installed it and saw it was running 10.3, so I wanted to update the firmware. I opened the case, and there are no R/B buttons. Is there some other method for flashing this uses? Did I catch a bait and switch? Am I just having a stupid moment? Anyone able to advise.
Edit: In case anyone runs into a similar situation, the issue was that I didn't have the CH340 drive installed on my PC, so the port in BMCU Flasher was not populating. After install, I was able to flash the unit, no buttons required.
