I prefer Beat It cover to the original tbh

Recently I gave the original Beat It a go, since I hadn’t heard it before (yes. I know. I'm young, that's all). It was... very different. It's some kind of disco ballad? I also noticed the tempo was slower. I didn't like it too much. I like my FOB Beat It wayyy better. The guitar riff at the beginning literally sends chills down my spine every time. Makes me feel as if I'm diving into a winning fight. I wish they would release a deluxe vinyl version of Folie that includes this gem. Anyone else feel the same way?

Also happy Fourth of July in advance

I bought TOYPAJ cd and it came CENSORED

I bought a used TOYPAJ cd online and it was a "clean" version. All the swearing is muted and Happy Holidays You Bastard was literally entirely instrumental except for the final line "I'll never talk to you again". It even says "Happy Holidays" without the "You Bastard" part on the back. Has anyone seen this before? And should I keep this? It's a bummer because the censor kinda ruins it.

Apple forgets to implement Liquid Glass design on the Stocks app search bar

I wish they paid more attention to the details. I mean this is literally a first party app.

Something funny I noticed after getting a kindle

I realized that I actually ended up buying physical copies of every single book I read on Kindle. Sometimes I would buy a physical copy after finishing the ebook; sometimes I would buy when I'm not finished yet, then read the rest physically.

I noticed that I have this empty feeling in my heart when I don't physically own what I love. It's like there's a hole in my heart that I need to fill up by getting a physical copy. Come to think of it, I've always been a collector at heart. Now I'm thinking of selling my Kindle. If I'm going to get a physical copy anyways, why not just start with it in the first place?

The convenience of Kindle was good buy very minor for me. I think the best thing about physical books is that it holds memories. Like, when I re-read a classic, I want to touch and hold the exact copy I read 4 years ago, old and worn out, properly used and loved. You could do the same on a Kindle but really it's not the same you know what I mean.
