Howdy folks!

It's hot and I'm bored so I figured it's time to come out of hiding and do my first RAOC offer. If you want a random postcard (and Fin's Mysterious Box of Mystery Postcards has everything from Sanrio to Inuit art to vintage tourist destinations) here's what you've gotta do:

I've been getting back into sending mail lately and you know what? I miss having penpals. I don't care much about location, gender, or age since I think those differences lead to more interesting discussions. I just ask you're LGBT friendly and otherwise a kind person. Oh, and I want strictly platonic stuff. My life is too complicated as it is without someone longing long distance over my giblets.

So let's get it out of the way: I'm a quadriplegic. How that happened and how I do snail mail are both kind of boring but I'll tell you if you ask. Really I'm an open book about the whole thing. I just ask for a bit of patience from time to time as I navigate health stuff.

I have two cats and I love sharing photos or details about their current exploits. They're in my post history. I also love reptiles though I don't have any. My favorite animal are gaboon vipers. For fictional ones its gotta be the jackalope.

Most of what I watch on TV is at least horror adjacent but I'm not above a Heated Rivalry moment from time to time. Right now I'm really enjoying The Vampire Lestat which is regressing me back to the vampire obsessed teen I was.

I love music and was distraught to realize much of the 90's-00's alt rock I enjoy was called dad rock now. I explore plenty of genres though and I'm always open to suggestions. I suppose I should also admit that I more than dabble as a swiftie. Sorry, pop music has a chokehold on me.

I also love horror movies but I lean towards b movies over your usual. Bruce Campbell is one of my favorite actors. I've also rewatched the entire Chucky franchise a hundred times. If that gives you an idea of what I enjoy. When I want to be scared I usually go to something with demons in it. My mom was catholic and shared just enough of it with me to make me scream like a little girl when demons are involved.

I read a fair amount but there's no real rhyme or reason behind what I pick up. Historical fiction, nonfiction, horror, lit fiction, memoirs, LGBT romance, and fantasy all have a place on my shelf. I'm working on reading all of Stephen King's novels but right now I'm taking a breather and reading Alive.

My other hobbies include journaling, sticker collecting, and crafting. I'm a jack of all trades, master of none style one. Diamond painting, cross stitch, crochet, stamping, card making, and painting mostly.
