I’ve got bad news guys
It turns out it’s not the trigger, the dot or the ammo, I just suck at shooting. I’ve shot a couple steel challenges with another coming in a week, put close to 2k rounds through this and probably another 5k through the rest of my pistols. What is my next step other than paying an instructor to improve? What’s the consensus on whose YouTube videos to watch for the best tips on accuracy, grip and breaking the trigger? I want to not suck and I can’t quite feed into my consoomer cravings just yet. Also how tf do I fix this pig nose? It’s bugging the hell out of me.
Is there a fire in town?
Where is all this dang smoke coming from?
What kind of clips are you guys running and what do you recommend? I’m sick of these straps.
SSE exemption & Cruciform triggers
With the “cruciform trigger” ban coming, will it be legal to use SSE as an exemption if I wanted to import a 26x through an FFL?
What entry level jobs should I be looking for?
Evening folks,
I’m in a bit of a predicament with work / school and I’m coming here for some advice to see if any of y’all had some insight (I know Its not unique but I was having trouble finding similar enough data).
A little backstory and I’ll try to keep it brief, I dropped out of college at 18 because I didn’t know what to do with myself and figured I didn’t want to waste money and time on a degree I wasn’t sure about. Fast forward to today after a decade + of busting my tail and struggling for a dollar I’m in my second semester of college at 30 pursuing a degree in actuarial science and working full time (jr estimator in a factory). I was hoping my job would last until I finished school & an exam or two but it’s looking like they’re going to close their doors this year.
What sort of entry level jobs and where would you be looking for to transition into a role that would look good on a resume and be applicable to an actuarial science career?
Thanks everyone for your time and have a great day!
